Gunz: The Duel

Gunz is a new (in International version) game released in beta on May 16. It's a tps (third-person shooter) with a japanese style in combat and scenery etc. I want to know if you guys like the game so please take the poll. It's an awesome game if you haven't seen it yet then go here.

    This game was released over a year ago smartboy, May 16 2005 maybe, not 2006 :)

    fun game, a few problems with it though like the massive laggers.

    it's not the people who lag, its their craptastic network coding. Whoever coded it was horrible, and for some reason it locks out people with firewalls. Stupid stupid stupid.

    Gunz was a fun game at first, just becuase it was different. but it soon became boring and annoying as hell with all the hacks that were out >_<

    I still play(Started playing in i think october of last year) gunZ because I'm waiting for the full version

    I can see why some people would think it gets boring, but if you have a clan or some of your real life buddies playing with you I'm sure it would take alot longer to get boring

    I agree with you guys, it has it's major downfalls but it is still an extremely unique game. It's fun when you have nothing to do :D

    With their new xTrap program, most of the hacks that were available (god mode, walking through walls, changing damage values etc.) have been eliminated. Now there is only one real kind of hacking trainer, which can increase people's hp and speed (and a couple of other things.) However, this is extremely obvious when it is being used, and almost all hackers are unanimously voted out when it is made clear that they are hacking.

    The reason why I like gunz is because of the different styles of play available. In particular I like the way that K-Style (Korean Style) involves using specific techniques exectuted by button combinations and timing, and learning to incorporate them into the game. This means that it works rather like a Fighting Game aka. Street Fighter or King of Fighters.

    I tried Rakion, but I felt that it offered very linear options for moves, and involved a lot more mashing of buttons or repeated attacking and random running around. Also the fantasy setting =

    Just looked on Rakion's website but can't see whether its free or not? Is it? I might try it if it is.

    Amazing game, still play it but the hackers are back...again.

    this game would be a must play if the fix the following

    *hackers
    *gameplay(as in a world to explore not just a lobby and waiting for matches)
    *character customizing

    I dunno if anyone cares, but this is for the people who said they would play if there were no hacks.

    There has been a new patch to Gunz on the 25th of July, which has updated the xtrap ant-hacking system. This has rendered the current hacking trainers unusable, thus meaning that there are currently no hackers in gunz at all.

    This is true for almost all games. The fact that you have to point it out for Gunz just proves how shitty it is.

    I give it two weeks, then each fift server you join will have a person in it with brand new hacks.

    I have to say I liked It but hackers ruin the game And people Who ask 4 hacks

    Every second not even trying to play. Fun though

    I love gunz for its action and its pure speed but its got MASSIVE PROBLEMS!

    1. The place is a hacker haven, its like every week 100 new people hack and I dont blame them. With the million asians that slash shot so fast you cant see them I cans ee why theyd cheat(no matter how low it is). And to beat the hackers other people hack back at them so its an endless cycle until another "locust plague?" comes along and destroys all the accounts again.

    2. HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO TRANSLATE @#$%^&;* HATS!!!!

    it's not the fact of translating things at all. They are looking for a company to launch IgunZ with. The reason why other countries have gotten the full verision before us is because they pay for the service, we won't have to though.

    And about the hackers, They are gone X-trap got rid of them

    This game has been in beta for like 3 years, with no significant changes besides launcher updates in that time. This game needs to either die, or be revamped if it si to actually keep up in 2006.

    WHat the game offers and reality of the game are very different, when you play you will notice. The website makes the game sound much better then it actually is.

    I got to level 22, then the game just got boring.
