So far we know the starting classes for Greenskins and Dwarfs.
Dwarfs get: Hammerer (Melee DPS)
Ironbreaker: (Melee Tank)
Engineer (Ranged DPS)
Runepriest (Melee/Healer)
The greenskin get:
Black Orc/Warboss (Melee Tank) (orc only)
Battler (Melee/Ranged DPS) (orc only)
Shaman (caster/healer) (goblin only)
Squig Herder (melee DPS/Pet class) (goblin only)
But for their skill advancement system and 4 tiers, it is possible there are more split up along the way. We know Slayers will be a playable class for example ,but not where the heck they come from.
Also the orc and goblin only as the greenskins classes names are not fixed (the warboss/black orc for example... still undecided which one will be and the "battler" might get renamed).
No other info is available at this time but that each race will have 3-5 starting classes.

Sorry, slightly off topic but I suspect slayers will come from the Hammerer line as they have no regard for personal safety.

looks like an NPC. NPC shooters are very common. Remember troll archers in DAOc?
I think they will stay with the EHTOS type for realms like they did in daoc in the beginning. Each REALM will have a certain ethos to it and the classes will stay within the ethos and also true to the IP.
Orcs and Dwarves are gritty melee Ethos. While there ARE GOblin casters, and beautiful dwarves it dosent fit the ethos of this realm. SO you will see alot of melee oriented classes, alot of burned out buildings and alot of slapstick amung the goblins.
In counter... I think the Chaos and EMpire realm will be very magic oriented. I would expect a powerful caster, a pet caster and a caster/mage Hybrid to come out of both sides. Demon summoners for chaos, ELementalist for Empire as far as pet classes go, and Chaos Warrior (no real way you cant have this class in the game) for chaos, and Witch hunter/Bounty hunter for EMpire (also a fan fave)
Expect empire to be grand and beautiful like albion in daoc or Stormwind in WoW. ANd expect Chaos to be very detailed IP with a brutal take on the dark side.
Elven war by ethos will be alot of dex classes. Archers, and light armored fighters, along with lots of priest from both sides. Wouldnt suprise me to see a priest and a priest/mage or priest/melee hybrid come from this lot.

I always thought mages WERE casters. And to a different above poster I thought Runepriests were going to be caster/healer not melee/healer.

So, basically at E3 their machines had Goblin battlers (now berserkers) but it was a mistake and a last-minute decision had kicked them out without, though, time for modyifing what was on the demo machines.
Will it remain like that? who knows but FOR NOW: Goblins CANNOT be berserkers and orcs CANNOT be shamans :P

"Battler (Melee/Ranged DPS) (orc only)"
It may have changed since then (or my memory may be bad) but I'm pretty sure I saw a goblin Battler at E3 on their demo machines.

that's correct, but Sanya explains the mismatch here:
