It's alright for a free game, sure. If you don't exactly have the cash to purchase or the comp to handle a game such as BF1942 (Well, BF2 now), it might not be a bad use of your time to download Warrock if you're an FPS fan.
For those who've actually played any of the Battlefield series, it's basically what you can consider a knock-off of it. A couple things were added that I liked, mainly the ability to buy new weapons which could ultimately showcase an impressive plethora of weapons, versus BF2's award system. Both require you to play for a long period of time to either get enough game money to 'loan' a weapon (Warrock), or get another rank up to unlock one (BF2). Warrock is more forgiving in this aspect.
However, other than the dive roll and lean addition to an FPS , everything gameplay wise seems fairly stripped down from BF2. Air vehicles should really be looked at, handling one is like handling a remote controlled toy. It's very easy to master, but doesn't really give much satisfaction flying a helicopter in Warrock as it does in BF2. Also, a dirt back shouldn't be able to withstand a tank driving over it. The maps feel very, very empty, with the highest max limit I've seen at 32, for maps that would easily be considered a 64 player map on BF2.
Of course it's still a beta game, and it's free. I got my few laughs in and was done with it. Try this game out if you don't have any of the Battlefield series, but know there's a lot more in store for you if you make the Warrock -> Battlefield switch.
Again, I know intially said this game was bf in style, I think if you tried a bit more of it you'd find its a bit of cross between cs and bf. The maps are very different in style as well. I agree with the above poster though that the air handling, vehicle handling isn't as fun as in bf though. You don't feel the same sense of acceleration.
