Another way into beta. SOE to have a hand in this.

  Yes.  SOE is handling the marketing, which includes the promotional entries into open beta.  They are also doing the printing of CDs, boxes, and distribution of the physical software to stores.

  P.E. will handle the servers, 100% of the game, billing servers, customer service, and everything else.

  Keep in mind, too, this is open beta.  Registering (and to an even greater extent, being active, helpful, contributing member) on the Gods and Heroes:  Rome Rising forums qualifies you as a closed beta candidate, which will occur before any open beta stages.
  
  Also, the magazine (which actually looks to be pretty cool imo) isn't an SOE publication.  You can read the official response here

  My prediction is that SOE will add Gods and Heroes to their station pass and production line. The opinions of the consumer do not matter to SOE, only the amount of money they can bring in. Their development model is based on Greed. "Oh, SWG must become like WoW to make millions of dollars each month, lets destroy our current player base in the name of profit."

  Unfortunately, making uneducated predictions and quoting fact are two different things.  The first is easy - just blurt something out.  The second is a bit harder, and therefore not seen as much.  It requires actually reading information readily and publicly available.
  
  I'm not even going to summarize the numerous official quotes that make your post look ridiculous - that would require effort on my part, and since you put no effort into actually reading the facts, why should I put forth any effort?
  
  By the way, why did you post your message to this thread, instead of the obvious The Official "We're Angry at SOE" thread?  Is it because you thought posting it here would actually give it some credibility?  Well, it doesn't.  It still looks like all the other ignorant (and totally irrelevant) "I hate SOE" posts that seem to float around these days.
  
  Hate SOE if you want, but if you avoid Gods and Heroes:  Rome Rising for that reason, then you're missing out on a potentially great game - and you're doing it for all the wrong reasons.

  you rearly dont know anything about this game do you.... i personally dont like SOE as some people may know but i also have read infomation on the game which some people somehow cannot do? SOE has no ownership of this game whatsoever.... the only thing they do is distribute and then thats there job done so before you say something think to yourself, have i got the facts right
