Hey, well i play the KO beta, and i am currently wondering if there is any 'real' type of crafting, like crafting such as in games like Horizons or UO. I am asking this because i have recently learned that in KO to make a high powered weapon you must purchase these fairly expensive scrolls and lvl up an upgradable weapon or armor piece that you have purchased, and this process is fairly costly :S. I would just like to know what everyone else knows are has read about this topic. Thxs

    Howdy Duka.  There is no real "crafting" in this game.  Instead you must take the Upgrade (purple) items, and add scrolls to them.  The scrolls can either add elemental damage, bonus stats, resistances, lower the requirements, or increase their grade (raises base weapon damage or armor defense..but also raises requirements to use the item).  This can be very expensive, seeing as how each scroll takes roughly 250k gold (unless you use blessed scrolls, which will cost a few million each practically).  In order to make a high grade weapon with elemental damage, for example, you must add an elemental scroll to the weapon in the green upgrade sphere (on average, 1 out of 5 elemental scrolls land..so its quite expensive).  Then you must take your +1 grade weapon with elemental damage, and use the Upgrade scrolls to increase its grade to +2.  Then use another scroll for +3, 4, 5, 6...you can raise it pass +6 grade, but i wouldnt suggest trying it until you use blessed scrolls (failed 14x in a row with blessed scrolls last night trying to turn a +6 into a +7).  If you fail at having a scroll work at any time, the item will be destroyed, so it's pretty harsh at times.  I've seen you ingame, and you can PM me (Firby) if you need anything clarified or anything.  Sorry for the long response :P

    Ahh ya thats rite, thxs for clearing that up 2day, i went and made some weps :D i made a +5 flame sword and a +6 flame sword :D, and yes i do remember u kno, me and Far meet u as an Orc but u changed lol.  But i now i see how to get crazy weapons :D thxs for showing me this.
