hack and slash is gay

I've tried two mmorpgs yet, (Savage Eden and Priston Tale), and they both suck. All you can do is buy weapons, go out of town, hack n slash, collect items and repeat process. It's so gay. The whole point of the game is just to click click and click. And social interactions are pretty scarce. I guess that not all mmorpgs are like this. Like anarchy online for example, I bet that it's not like this.

Anyway, would you know of a free mmorpg, or one in beta that I could easily join that is not like hack n slash and gay wang shit?

I only ones I know are WWII Online and Planetside as MMOFPS, but with your explanation they also suck because you run out of your base with weapons, shoot enemies, lvl up, get better weapons, shoot and so on. Also they are not in beta phase anymore or for free.

Well you can't really expect an AO type game that is free would be nice i dont know of any that a free and good though only thing you could do is check the free games post

Don't have high hopes on open beta korean-mmorpg. All of them are hack-and-slash only games.

I don't understand why people play those games. I mean, you have Diablo and Diablo 2. While not being free, you only have to pay for the software and hack and slash to your hearts content. Am i missing something or what?

yeah and mining at the beginnging. Very repeatable mining. very boring mining and it's not free or in beta anymore.

If you are looking for a roleplaying experience, it is hard when folks have time to write the emote they wish others to see, need a direct eye contact, and web cam would still have it limits, nothing like doing it with friends around a table...or in customes in the woods(the combat system will obviously lack, you go there for the roleplaying, there would be very few battles and they will all lacks, but the talking and all, direct contact and sorry, if you burst in laugher, you cant pretend you support someone after)

Computers are marvelous for 1 thing...combat system been handled fairly, do you hack and slash here, go do roleplaying with folks that cant politically think what you should read from them away from behind a computer screen!

Hell, I recall some places where they expect you to remain and play dead 30 minutes on the floor when u died, that was a hell lot worst then any CR or whateversoever, and...I did it...often! Hehe, but the roleplaying is just great, especially when inclues from the dumb orc that the player enjoy it even if the orc dont get it.

Sounds as though you would be the type of person a game company would NOT want beta testing their game.
