I know this is really early but i will do anything for that 1 spot in The DnL beta, i will trade the KO account i won for it anything!! that is the game i have been waiting for i must play. someone be nice! give me your account when you win

    Do any of you know what the computer specs for the beta are gonna be.  I need tthe info so i know what to get for my new computer. 

    I don't think that i would trade my account until i've played it for a little while at least.

    In a general manner, yes to get all the rendering features running. The Dnl engine is scalable thanks to its automatic performance control system and display options. Today, we still optimize the engine in order to give you guys the best minimum system requirements. We can guaranty you we will never oblige you to upgrade your configuration.

     

    Frm the DnL site. I'm guessing you would require quite a powerful pc for it.

    Trust me guys... nothing to get hyped up about... There is no game currently. Just a 3D Engine and Server... I couldn't even target other people... Just run around...

    Biggest world I have seen in a MMORPG though...

    DnL: two factions (dark & light) each with 12 races and 14 (skill tree) classes. Ten kingdoms to conquer. Able to progress in experience w/o combat through politics and +42 trade skills even while offline (npc mode.) PvP (loot gold) in a PvE GM monitered world with pker hunting through a zoneless 200 kmxkm expanse. Possibly players can play monsters in the 1st expansion. Items stored in housing or a mule following the player.
    NDA Beta started with 500 ( 1st and 2nd kingdom) and progresses to 1000 then add more for server stress testing. Transportation by water and air.
    Beta system requirements: +1.5GHz cpu, +512MB RAM, +18 years age, higher end gpu (dx9) but sys req will lower as the 6 beta stages progress (about 1 month each.) Estimated retail summer 2004.
    DnL has an IRC channel #darkandlight, on the irc.jeux.fr server.
