What's a good class duo?

in World of Warcraft
Hi,
  Now i wouldn't normally play this as I'm playing EQ2 at the moment, but a friend of mine won't play anything else with me. So...
 
What's a good class for each of us to pick and play together ?

I know that each race starts at a different place, so would say a night elf and a human be very far away from each other when they start?

Do alliance and horde start too far a away to play together without travelling for ages?

    wait for the expansion and roll a blood elf paladin and partner with a shaman nothing will ever kill you. Or roll a human paladin and draenei shaman. You guys will be solo for the first few levels but you will never die.

    yeah,they are far away,but you and your friend can choose dwarf and gnome,they born at the same place,also if you want to form a team,the best match are gnome mage and dwarf priest

    What he said, I think this will be a amazing combo for PvE and PvP.

    Alliance and Horde can't play together, or even talk to eachother so you'll have to choose the same faction. One of the most dangerous duos I know is Warrior & Paladin (only Alliance has Paladins until expansion).

    Mage and a priest and AOE grind to 60.

    I basically duo with my brother till about 20 and usually far onwards, but with more people.

     In my experience, any classes will do, depends what you two like to play.
