MMORPGs that can be played on Linux

katriellkatriell Member UncommonPosts: 977

I'm curious if anyone knows of MMOs that can be played on Linux?

Ryzom is one. There's no native client, so Wine is used. But it runs wonderfully. :)

Second Life has a Linux client which is in alpha.

dont get me wrong that linux is a fine OS, its superior to windows in many ways, but not gaming

why not just fire up XP home and be able to play any mmorpg you want ?

i use linux myself, but when it comes to gaming i boot up XP

The rollback ate my excellent post ;) I think it said something like this but in a much better way:

If you don't mind using Cedega, take a look at this list. You will have to click on each game to see the Playability.

Add the Argentinian game Regnum Online to the list of MMORPGs with native clients.

The English site doesn't mention it, but with some help of Babelfish I'm sure you can decode the Spanish. It's a cute, standard MMO in beta

WoW also works fine on Apple/Mac. Which has the 2nd best OS after Linux.
