Fanboi Summer Poll

First topic by me, just thought i'd throw that in .

It's the battle of the Fanboi's which type of Fanboi (in your opinion) is the most annoying. enjoy.

yes i know i'm probably gonna be flamed for this lol i haven't taken a side in the great fanboi wars and have insulted all them.

Remember its just a bit of fun now

    Only 3 votes so far. If this poll reaches the eyes of alot of the more "mature" natured people on these forums youre gonna see EvE fly away with this one. There really arent all that MANY WoW fanbois up here, most of them only post when somebody attacks the game hardcore...actually thats 24/7 up here. Oh and period is a WoW fanboi troll, but hopefully hes been banned by now.

    What pisses me off about alot of people is they think their better than wow players because their more hardcore than them :S lol.

    The most annoying to me was the DnL fanbois.

    I don't mind "fanboi's" at all. I think it's great to see people really enjoying the game they play and very understandable they will feel the need to talk it up. I voted for anti-fanbois because the only time I'm bothered about the subject is when the fanboi insults start flying.

    Well I voted Darkfall not because of the game but because most of the fanbois that do annoy me are the ones that claim that full on pvp is better then everything else and that everyone should play it or die(not in those words but just as extreme), then they proceed to bring up darkfall and yadaa yadaa yadaa. The only other one I would have gone with would be the swg fanbois, we all know why there.

    There are two types of fanbois:

    A) the defender, he enjoys his mmo a lot, and if anyone gives crap about he'll stick up for it, and a large argument will ensue.

    B) the wanker, this is the guy that instigates arguments, and the most notorious of the fanbois, he also lacks the maturity of the defender and enjoys flaming... a lot. He will usually begin threads such as 'Why my game is teh bestest!!!1111one'

    My choice of the WoW fanboi is because ive seen some real pearlers coming outta these guys.

    SWG fanbois get my vote...

    like an obsessive ex-girlfriend they just cant let the game go.  and now they would like you to believe that bioware would walk into the snakes nest of star wars purists and anti/pro jedi lovers/haters and come out smelling like a rose?  even when the game was good, the fans still ran it through the grinder

    EVE gets mine.

    However, I never have seen GW fanbois that say that.

    I'm a GW fanboi, but I don't think it's the best i've played cause it's free, I think it's the best i've played cause it's fun.

       In my opinion, the most annoying people aren't fanbois, but the people who refuse to use puntuation, and replace words like "are" with "r" and "you with "u"... It doesn't save any time. It's no easier to do. It's just annoying. I've quit teams before because they were filled with fools who wouldn't type things properly.

    Nice to see Eve fanbois winning the race - You guys are so insistent that youre more intelligent than the average user and the only people capable of understanding why your game doesnt suck.

    I hope they release Age of Conan on the Xbox 360; cause I don't think many people have a computer that can run an mmo that beautiful looking.  All the flora and the normal mapping and HDRI lighting.  Thats gonna really chug the system.  So far they only showed small amounts of people.  I wonder how bad it is in that capital city with 2k AFKers.

    About time MMO's started the concept of 'auto-kicking' people after 10-20 minutes of inactivity,with the exception of instances and PvP conflicts. AFK shoppers will no longer exist.

    I don't hate fanboys. I am one myself. But when you start insisting people play the game you like,it's like (though less extreme) these religious cults who insist you come back and join their thing; you put more people off that way than you gain.

    My vote goes for the anti-fanboys, because if there is one thing that is worse than insisting you play their game it's insulting someone because he enjoys his game.

    I myself am a pro-blizzard fanboi (not many of us ) and proud of it, everyone should embrace their fanboiness lol
