Question about past open beta games

I just notice that most (at least ones I seen) have always stay open beta. Are there any of them a complete game now? Only one I can think of is Rose.

    They're not open beta, theyre f2p... there's a difference, although I really don't know what it is ::::18::

    Many many games successfully go gold. A lot of games that seem f2p will actually charge, its just that their devs arent too clever and take YEARS to debug them to a releasable standard. Example Gates to Heaven: The devs gave up but the faq clearly stated a monthly fee.

    You are talking about a "complete game". I dont think that a game couldnt be completed ever, because they always need to improve or add something to make the game more interesting and grant fun for the people. If you would have a game which just goes to gold and than the work on it will be stopped, after a short while most players will leave.

    But back to the real thing you ment. Of course, there are many games which goes to gold, just check some of the older topics in this area. You will find many names of games which have been in beta and have been discussed here for a couple of times and now they are gold since tons of month.

    So i think in this area you will always find new games, no complete games discussions..just as the topic of it says. Well nevermind it, check out the older pages and you will find many games if you are searching for them.

    Yeah, I was just being sarcastic. Most games don't really have any difference these days. They release OB, they play it out, and they even roll characters over to Live. You see no difference at all, was my point. I was just too tired to make it correctly ::::15::
