MMORPG And FPS.

Hello. I was wondering who here likes both MMORPG and FPS? I've noticed while playing CS 1.6 most people hate MMORPG's. But i've always liked both. I guess it's because they've been playing FPS longer and havn't really ever settled with MMORPG's, so they keep away from them.

    A lot of people like them both, when im not playing rpgs/mmos i usually play an fps game or some type of shooter. Good mix.

    Im waiting for huxley - this has the best chance of combining both genres. Instanced 50vs50 pve/pvp combat with full Unreal fps engine ;)

    On a side note: Try planetside but I seriously suggest you stay on the free account for a long time, the game has no end-game content persay.

    I used to Play Halo, I then went to SWG, and came out with BF2 to play.

    Really, I like both Genres. There is a sort of rivalry I'd say, mostly in the FPS crowd, but it isn't huge or anything

    I enjoy MMORPGs, FPS, and RTS games. You would think Neocron would be good (fps and mmo) and yet it sucks hardcore. Wonder why things like that happen ::::21::

    I tried planetside a while back, didn't like it. I think the problem was that it's hard to start off because everyone's been playing so long. Thanks though.

    Aye. I've played a ton of MMORPGs and FPS games... Been playing CS for almost 4 years now... Man I'd love to see a GOOD MMOFPS with a somewhat more realistic combat system than planetside has (I couldn't get into WW2 online, maybe because of its meager playerbase but there just wasn't enough action).
