Are any of you actually believing that Lucas Arts is talking with the hacks at the SWG emulation team? Wow I also have a free bridge to give away, its in a great area where SOE has an office and can be prone to earth quakes.
I hope if you guess where you are at least clever enough to realize what a load of hoey this all is.
Since I am the only one to ask this so far (from wot I have read) WHY would LA want anything to do with a couple of hacks like them? Arn't the bafoons at SOE enough trouble? Let alone a couple of hack thieves?
If you buy into this, any of this rumor please reply to this thread so I know which members of the community I will tease relentlessly when an official voice from LA speaks out.

Oh yeah. I forgot to mention that the Almighty appeared to me in a dream last night and told me that LA was going to hire a bunch of loud mouth hackers to replace SOE.

Did any of you ever really think that they had the knowledge, skillsets, money or technology to pull this off?
Let em ask another question... all those emulation projects that did "succeed" in the past, Everquest, etc. Where they working with an enviroment so bugged that the orignal devs abondended it?
I loved the old game, I won't play the NGE crap, but the old game had SERIOUS issues. SOE's devs didn't and we all like to chastise them for it (me esp) but do you really think any of those "EMU" devs could? I don't just mean being able to build the code for the server but fix all the problems it had?
Really. Do you think they could? It was a ncie daydream all... but its time to wake up and smell the coffee.
Yes I know we have a rumor forum, but there is no use for it.
When the official reports about the state of the game and its future end up being wrong, then official reports are just as good as any rumor.
And when rumors like the guy who got laughed about the NGE two weeks before it came turn out to be true, then it means that all rumors, no matter how outlandish, are as credible as the official news from the official channels.
Everything about this game is rooted in spin, exaggeration, lies, conjecture, and guru mysticism. Therefore, this is the most appropriate forum for these matters.

There's also some 3d FPS wannabe version that apparently SOE is charging subscription for, but I don't think anyone really cares about that.

I hope for all of you that they can do what they said. Because as much as you all love to flame me for not believeing in this like you have, I actually wish you all the best.

Ever notice when a new member of this community comes here and askes about the game... wot happens? 2 people say try it out, everyone else flams them and says "Hey you are the kind of person they are looking for"
I hate the NGE, but im honest, to a fault. There are good things about that game, there are bad things to the old game... and vice versa. I think all of the truth should be on display and not just part of it.

I understand your opinion. You are wrong however. Please show me who I have flamed in the past. Yea I have made mistakes but you are exagerating when you say every post I make is a flame. I know you don't appriciate what I write and thats ok with me. I learned eons ago I can't please everyone...

Uhmm ok.. let me explain how you come across... You come across as a person who seems to lack attention, and does whatever they can to bring attention to themselves. With that accomplished you beign to tell people they do nothing but flame you... Then you attack the topic at hand.. and you further it be expounding on what beloings where in the forums.
