Haven't heard anything about it, but it wouldn't
be nothing new MU has lots of hackers. It was a
matter of time before they got hacked.

i played MU from 1rst day
all i can say is that : this game is full of amateurs , greedy ppl that want to play with cheats to earn items and jewels
the economy of the game sucks a lot
and finaly : YES the server was hacked also the web page isnt under secure
Yes, MU(Global) has been hacked. Accounts are being taken everyday almost. Then you have the people who are using different cheats to play the game (i.e. One Hit Kills, Dublicate Items, Speed Hacks, etc.) and its all crazy. Also you have dumb people who are giving out their account info on the FreeBoards to hackers, lol, I will never understand that.
I agree that the community on there sucks too. From people KSing(Kill Stealing), looting, price jacking, and just being plain rude.
Some have been thinking of just taking a break from the game until WebZen decides to take some action. Some are speculating that they will do one of two thing: A rollback of the servers or a complete wipe. Both of which will cause a problem for a lot of people.
So for now, I advise anybody who plans to play MU to wait a while until this situation clears up.

P2P isnt coming for a long time and mostly for 2 reasons...
reason #1 its a crappy game and nobody in their right mind would ever pay for a piece of shit like that... why spend your money on MU when theres way better games out there to spend your money on...
reason #2 because like 99% of the people currently playing MU are only doing so because its a free game... these are the people known as "Beta Hoppers"... these usually consist of 12 year old kids with no way of getting their own money to pay for an online game (and with all the 12 year olds you can kinda understand why the whole community consists of immature KS'ers/gankers)...
bassically soon as the game goes P2P it will lose like 99% of its players and webzen knows this... also being the kind of game that it is it will only slowly lose more and more players after P2P untill eventually the game is totally abandoned...
the game is growing quite fast at the moment and thats exactly what their looking for... their bassically going to wait untill the game is at its peak and then bust in P2P to get as many players paying as possible

What you fail to realize is that WebZen doesn't need the Global version to be successful. It has been p2p in Korea for quite a while and they are making plenty of money from them. Notice that most of the games that go global or just to the US, is already p2p somewhere else. Thats why there is always crappy maintenance and few updates.
Take Priston Tale for example.....They already had p2p in Korea, China, and Japan before they released it to the US. Do you think that they gave a crap wether or not we actually played it? No. Do you think they care that the accounts are being hacked? No. As a matter of fact, they made a version in Thailand, lol, and that went p2p after 2 months. Do you think they are eager to fix the English version for us? No. Why should they push themselves to make the english version work out when they already have four versions that are p2p.
Another thing about making english version games is that the people are ungrateful. Always complaining, always wanting more, and always messing things up. When I seen how seriously the koreans take PT(Priston Tale) and how they help each other on the game, I was embarassed to be part of the english version. For just about every game that comes out in an english version, the community sucks. I'm not saying that other people are perfect but we are horrible game players. Cheating, lying, stealing, and being rude is all that I see in english games.
Ok, enough bashing players, lol......sorry.
MU isn't a crappy game really. It just needs to add some things. I would enjoy MU if it wasn't for the community. The graphics are too shabby and the gameplay is normal for a Hack&Slash game. They need to get rid of the lag too but just about all games have lag of different magnitudes. I think if they ever did add more features and went p2p, I would play BUT only if they current community left, lol. I don't think I would pay more than $10 for it though.

MU sucks hard... when the new wave of MMORPG's hit (EQ2, UXO, Lin2, WoW, CoH) MU will be so outdated it wont even be funny
MU... small land mass, crappy graphics (and anybody who says graphics dont matter are lying to themselves), crap PvP system (if your going to make PvP, at least do it right), absolutely NO customization, crap economy, shitty combat... bah i dont even feel like going on, there's just too much =_=

See, I'm new to this forum and I don't want to offend you or anything so I will just explain myself.
1. Nobody said anything about MU pwning anything. I just said that its not as bad as you say it is.
2. Yes, when other games come out, MU will look crappier in comparison. But once again, I never said that MU is the best.
3. I don't know where you get this "12yr old" thing from. There are older people (18yrs old+) that act worse than the younger kids do. And are so cheap that they won't pay $10-20 monthly for a game. So age has nothing to do with it.
4. You don't have to be a beta hopper to experience a lot of games. I, for one, pay for the current game I play and have been paying for almost 2yrs (Astonia 3) but yet I like to explore other games. I don't search for only beta games, just something that catches my eye. I try it out, if I like it, I will pay for it or if its in beta, I will just continue playing it. Playing multiple games has nothing to do with beta hopping.
I don't know where your hostility originates from but I think you should chill out. With that said, I will stop responding to your negative posts, regardless of what you say about me or my words.
Edit: Personally, I can't wait for CoH to come out. I think that and Astonia will be my main games.
