    It will NOT be Pre-CU.  It will be a mix of all 3.  We CHs, BEs and TKMs are still dead :/

    After what went down this week, I am having serious doubts.  It is apparent that big business has completely taken over our planet.  My opinion, your opinion, anybody's opinion does not mean squat.  As evidenced by the fact you cannot discuss certain subjects on certain forums, despite being the reason those forums are able to charge people for advertising.

    Somebody at SOE is working real hard to paint a picture to his bosses that everything is OK and nobody really wants the pre-CU.  I believe it goes as far as threatening other businesses with loss of advertising and even lawsuits.  I'm beginning to believe pre-CU is DEAD, and that is a major change in my attitude.

    I see ur point, but i dont think they ever can get rid of all the NGE hate, and the Pre cu love, myself think Pre CU rollback is dead aswell, i have bin following this issue, since the start of CU, i have hoped and hooped and still does, even tho i think there is no hope anymore, CU had such a big influence on me

    I am extreamly confused about the whole situation, cous i have nerver experienced something like this b4, that a company can S*** on u that hard, i am so shocked still

    Pre CU was the best ever, the mmorpg's i have tried after CU, nerver had the same experience, Pre CU was uniq, im only hoping Vanguard: Saga of heroes will be my new mmorpg home now, and if its just half as good as Pre CU was, i will be happy, cous Pre CU was good, extreamly good

    MMORPG.com is censoring material to protect themselves. They have the right to censor any material at any time, for any reason. The main reason they are now cracking down on the emulation talks is because of all the recent hogwash. A lot of communities were being involved in a lot of the rumors that did not want the attention. MMORPG.com, for a fact, does not want that kind of negative attention either. To extend my point, all of the rumors discussed on these forums have been false information which has mislead a lot of people.

    The "Star Wars Galaxies: Complete" is simply another marketing ploy. SOE is trying to word their product to draw the old community back into the game. They will most likely succeed in doing so by drawing countless idiots back into the slaughter. Which will increase SOE's billfold.

    they will leave again then, but yea SOE kinda win, cous as soon they have lots more, they can say we are doing great now, and have lots of vets, even if they leave again, shame the game just wont die, i feel sad to see they torture us vets with saying everything is ok, and its not, even tho i dont play the game, it haunts me

    No doubt they are protecting themselves.  But they were not telling us not to talk about a certain subject for weeks or even months.  Then suddenly, all that changes.  Call me a conspiracy nut all you want to, but that was likely in response to fear of either reduced advertising or legal action.  The big corporation triumphs over the little guys AGAIN. 

    No matter what kind of spin you put on this, TELLING US WHAT NOT TO SAY IS CENSORSHIP.  We are not yelling "Fire" in a theater.  The people reading the forum are responsible for making up their own mind as to what they believe.  Just because the owners of the forum have the RIGHT to censor, does not make it RIGHT. 

    The only problem with siding with the team in power is that you usually end up with your head in a basket when the villagers revolt.  I hope MMORPG.COM remembers that piece of history.

    Yes most likely it is marketing spin again and SWG Complete will just be the base NGE with all the expansions in one box just in time for xmass. They're even throwing in 'exclusive' gifts to get existing players to but it which is a nice way of giving them a guranteed return.

    There is absolutely no way this isn't a completely NGE product.  To redo the code to rollback to a CU or pre-CU would be a monumental undertaking and is exactly the kind of task $OE has repeatedly said they cannot do, and based on the state of their recent coding effort, I concur with this assessment.  For similar reasons, there cannot be a merging of pre-CU/CU/NGE concepts - it's just way too much work.  The ***ONLY*** logical explanation is that the so-called "classic" is NGE-classic.  War_Dancer is dead-on in his posting.
