I'm one year older than you(if the number in your nick is any indicator). [edit:] No i just checked. You are actually five years younger Why the hell would you put 87 in your name?
You contribute nothing to these forums, therefore a troll.
A game i can't play? I'm playing it... So what the hell is your point?
You make it sound like I hacked the client and pulled the mp3's out of there. Do you think playing on the jTrickster servers take hours of translating and/or get a japanese person to register for me? It took me five minutes and I was ingame beating the shit out of cute little sea-creatures.
Like he said... You are in the wrong place to attempt sitting on a high horse. If I'm passionate about gaming, that is not a problem for me... and it shouldn't be a problem for you.

Were you the person that implemented it? I'm curious about how it works. If you were I'd love to know a little. So far it only seems like an unecessary system that can cause more harm than good (If someone aquires your Login info they have access to all your characters on all the games you play through the SSO system.)
Scrawneh, what games have you played in the past? Just so I can sort of get some insight on what games you enjoy and what not? This is just to tell me if we share the same tastes, kinda so I can see if I might like Trickster as well.
I've played Everquest, (loved it), everquest 2 a bit, WoW,Daoc, alot of the mainstream play to pay games basically. I also enjoyed RO, do you think I might like trickster? or have I been spoiled by the P2P games?

Thats a tough question. I didn't get too into Everquest, seeing I didn't start playing mmorpg's alot ti'll 2001 when Anarchy Online came out. I played DAoC when it was in beta, I think, and I haven't really re-visited it.
I'll have to do this systematically. EQ2 - The graphic engine sure is powerful, but the work done on textures and 3d modeling is sub-par.. also I didn't really get too into it due to WoW. The content I experienced during my short stay in EQ2 has lead me to believe that I maybe should re-visit the game sometime. WoW - interesting design, and the 1-59 times was excellent. Lineage 2 - If this wasn't such a corrupt game(eBay, IGE), I would play it ti'll my fingers would bleed... EVE online - I enjoy playing games, not just owning them. However once I did get into PvP, I soon found the tinkering with ship setups and 'Orbit at set range', 'press keys F1 through F7', wasn't really for me. CoH/CoV - Fun for a while, but only for a month or two. Ragnarok online - loved it. It's up there with Lineage 2 in the 'fingerbleed' ranking. But alas.. botting is extremely easy in this game, so I feel my dedication and time spent is wasted due to my acheivments bearing little or no merit due to the fact that computer programs will always oneUp me.
I've tried numerous betas for most of the games on the 'Released games' list on these forums. And I've had my share of free-2-play experiences (Maplestory, Silkroad etc.)
Now. Trickster. Like I said, I have played the Jap version and experienced the technical side to the game. I have however only talked to maybe two other people during my stay, and only then for a short while. So I haven't experienced the community side of it. While I find the technical side of it very similar to Ragnarok, which is awesome, the lack of social interaction in the game so far is kinda hurting the overall experience. I will most definitly give the english Trickster a try to see how the community turns out. If it becomes just as obnoxious as Maple Story's, I might run away if I can't find a group of likeminded people to hang with.
It's easy to get spoiled by the p2p games for their high quality in most aspects, but many of the seemingly mass-produced korean grind-games have been made with love (Bleh. A bit clichè, but i like it). Ragnarok Online was never f2p, but theres a possibility that it could have survived like that. Trickster is at times comparable to Ragnarok, but it looks, feels and plays different in all aspects. All in all I think you really should check it out. Won't hurt, right? Free games for the win!
Another delay, OMG such a shock... did anyone not expect this? GameNgame has proven they cannot even program there way out of DOS, but at least they are real pros at giving excuses and apologies.
Jesus, they still haven't launched this piece of shit? Sorry for the language, I have no intention of playing this game, but even I'm getting frustrated just following this topic. Probably the single worst debut for an online game ever.

I agree, it is indeed the worst launch I have ever witnessed. However it is not the makers of Trickster's fault, it's their provider gameNgame who can't get their shiat straight.
You know.........this SSO System could be horrible if you really think about it...Imagine somone getting your user and pass and hacking your account? If you were to play every one of those games,...they would have access to all your accounts. Damn

Quality post indeed. Not only does the comic strip fully show how G&G works, it also shows that not only can we not trust them but also their stupid attempts to make us happy.
1 Delay is ok.
2 Delays is sad but ok.
3 delays is disappointing but for the sake of the game still bearable
4 delays causes a lot of sadness and a little anger
5th & 6th delays make the users not only lose interested in the game but also comfirms that the producers are crappy and useless.
One more delay like this next week & i'm moving onto another game. Anyone else joining me?
Side note: Looking back, i realise G&G actually made an apology which is pretty interesting. Considering most or pratically all other gaming producers don't offer any form of apology i can say G&G is ok in that... BUT you can't go and tell someone sorry after slaughtering himher. So, sorry isn't some immortal word that can settle everyone once used. Sorry is just but a small pill that EASE THE PAIN for a short while. After that, it's back to old times.

I guess you weren't around for the travesties that were Anarchy Online, and worse, Dark & Light. They were much, MUCH worse than a simple 3 week (and counting...) delay.

Stupid to, Granado Espada was more worthy of an english translation. Then alot of the other games I see brought here.
In War - Victory. In Peace - Vigilance. In Death - Sacrifice.

FINALLLYYYY!!!!! Someone who agrees with me!!!!!!!!! *Hugs!* Ok... now.. i say we lead a revolt against GnG and write the Trickster log-in code ourselfs with an army of enraged gammers!
Call me insane but even though i know the game will be officially released next week (hopefully) i still keep checking the site. If G & G screws it up once more on this i don't know what i'll do.
