I was there.... and i got owned badly. My character isn't a very high lvl and most of the other people there i think were givin high levels for testing by the KO staff...It was a bit unfair for me like that, but atleast it gave an opportunity to see PvP on a smaller level.

I know how you feel paratrooper, people such as winter mute, were leveled up by gms and have over 4000 hp, how can my 780 hp compair with them?

I was there as my mage Alenda and so was my son Atla, although I had to keep summoning my team mates mostly lol.  All in all, it was alot of fun.

So it shows promise in their pvp system?

I mean I've seen the Chinese versions guild battles of 20 on 20 in the middle of the valley, but not these numbers...

The first Lunar battle I don't think anyone knew where to find each other, was funny how each side missed the other in crossing, finally found them back in there fort and they pretty much stayed there.  Killing the opposeing guards was nice money and exp as well and yes they attack you of course.  It was the most fun I've had.

I hope many will show up for this next one as well, no matter what level as it should show you at least what to expect.  It pretty kewl.

    Greetings from Knight Online

The lunar war starts by each character teleporting to their respective nation's base.

In each base there are guards and a keeper. It is the each nation's objective to storm each other's base and kill everything inside including the keeper. The person that kills the keeper gets alot of experience and is noted in the system. To my understanding, which nation wins will affect drops.

Killing the keeper + the number of kills will give a nation victory at the end of the war.

Bear in mind you have guards at each base. They hit hard and have high hp. To storm a base requires coordination and strategy. Each class plays its own role to ensure victory. A high level character does not neccesary own a lower level player (trust me on this)image

Just try and make it during the war, test it out and give me feedback on it. Thats all i ask. So please join the war and have some fun along the way

The very first war was just a mini test with mostly high lv players. I heard they did it again the next day, but hardly anyone showed up. Just can't wait for the one today because hopefully alot of people will turn out.

Yeah...I had a great time at the lunar war the other day.  El Morad dominated Karus for the first part and I made some quick and easy cash image

heh go figure, atla dominated people and there normall characters.

Actually, the wars I have fought in are all agains leveled characters. Went to one with just 1 orc and he was normal character and I didnt attack him. Just watched him fight it out with another assassin.

ok, well I reached level 30 after my second day of play.. so does this mean the next lunar wars, I will face someone my level or someone gm leveled?

  • madjakemadjake Member UncommonPosts: 233

I fought in one for about 5 or so deaths, have a level 31 rogue and got DOMINATED. I didn't even come close to killing any of the others. Of course it was 3 on one.. I dunno if the mage that was shooting fireballs at me was a lot higher level but 1-2 fireballs and I was a goner. It showed potential for fun and strategy but the small turnout and probably level differences really made it unfun that time.

    My two cents.

I was in the first war with my mage and killed quite afew people, then I was in last nights Lunar war wtih my assassin.  We managed to kill 2 of the oppossing teams warder's but never made it to the keeper.  I just wished more had come to join in the Lunar War. Its alittle hard to test this out when you have ( it shows 278 registered on forums) alot that don't even bother to show up for this.  I know a few of us have gone to the few that have been done for testing, but not even half who are in beta have shown up.  Yes Atla owns peope and is my son, his warrior rocks but until you get that warrior to high enough level its a long road.  Some of us are trying to post pictures of these lunar wars for all to see on KO's forums. Far as rogue's, they can deal out alot of dmg but can't take the hits like the warriors so its all about grouping and planning your attack.  I'm really excited about open beta, as more players will join in and then well see how large a Lunar war can be as well as fun.  I hope to continue with the open beta and make this one special game.  I see alot of good things coming for it if everyone joins in and helps.  This pic might be too large but I hope it goes thru.  Its last nights Lunar War with a group from El-Morad - I won't post anymore this size since it takes up so much space.

I will be enjoying the open beta more because everyone will start out the same, I mean it only took me 2 days to get to 34 but the problem is I am still intimidated by those leveled characters, in the open there wontb e any will there?

  • cedoricedori Member Posts: 500

I'm not sure really, but even if there is, they are there to help test the higher end contient.  I know many are upset about this, but if there isn't alot of time this is the best possible solution.  With more people coming into open beta, or I hope there will be, it will make it alot more fun with many to find and group up with.  Hopefully this group coming in will find alot more bugs and glitches to further the game along for release.

Remember, the more you group with people the faster you will level making higher end contient  available to everyone.
