Cool upcoming MMO Pirate King Online

A friend of mine who work with online game company in Singapore email me this screen shots of cool MMO game called Pirate King Online.  The game website should be ready in a couple of days at http://www.piratekingonline.com .  I heard they are looking for closed beta testers.

    Let me welcome you to the imagination of the asian's and their glorious anime market.. if they can think it, they will make it work. If pirates with wings are the only thing this game has that is strange, i would be surprised.

    you sure that's not a screen shot of the wow expansion?

    could we please get correspondent writers and moderators, on the eve forum at mmorpg.com, who are well-versed on eve-online and aren't just passersby pushing buttons? pretty please?

    haha, interesting! A pirate with wings, sounds different! or...maybe it's not the priate, it's only a character....

    I will be in for the close beta, but the websit is not up yet. I will be expecting this!

    Hope it's a fantastic game to come up!

    I cant stand all these cute anime graphics, why would i or anyone for that matter want to run around in a multi coloured outfit that wouldnt provide any defence, with pink wings, a stick like body and a head the size of a grapefruit. Kinda ruins immersion for me.

    Well thats mainly why some people like playing asian games. Not everyone wants realism 100% of the time, asians go for fun and cool, thats why their games are usually the most entertaining, not just MMOs, but all their games, and they have alot, the practically run the console market, and they have the best anime.

    Now, that stupid comment about asian games staying in asia, then we would be stuck playing pong, if you like anything made by nintendo, and the majority of the stuff on playstation, those are all asian games.

    Asian has different taste in term of MMO game style.  The cute type of MMO Game characters appealed to wider audience.   More and more girls in Asia start playing MMO Games, due to the cute factor in the game.  Also playing cute MMO games actually is more relaxing and less tense compare to playing more serious MMO theme game like WOW and Guild Wars.  Personally I am playing both type of games

    Well you know, graphics aren't everything. I just hope the gameplay is good.
