ToonTown?

ok....uh, while looking through the game list on this site. I notice a game called ToonTown online, with a rating of 7.3 i think, but that seems like a poor excuse for an mmorpg? or maybe i just didnt look into it enough? doesnt charm me into a 7.3 rating! heh image

    I haven't played it either, but I'm planning on checking it out sometime soon. Just a little tidbit, Toontown was recently voted MMORPG of the year by Computer Gaming World in their March 2004 issue.

    From the issue:

    "A massively multiplayer game with the perfect balance between solo play and group dynamics in a unique, vibrant online game world"

    "Toontown is the one MMORPG that all MMORPG makers should be playing and studying."

    My 8 year plays it and loves it.  I've watched him play some, and it has mini-games to collect gags like pies and things.  It really looks cool and he loves it, which is all that matters.

    He spends his allowance to buy the monthly game cards from wal-mart.  I keep telling him that I'll put it on the card, but he likes having the cards so he can act like their credit cards.

    I tried this game out to see what it was like and it seems to be an all right game. it kind of reminds me of Mario party, with all the mini games.

    haha sorry guys sorry! no i havent played it before i wasnt really judging it, well actually yes i was..but i was just main reason was why its an mmorpg, it just didnt seem like one to me, and just that 7.3 is a really good rating for some other games and stuff and ya ok im done! sorry to have wasted ur time!

    First what I have to say is...image mmorpg of the year? From the looks of it, it seems like that may be an over-statement. However, you've all got me curious now... I'll have to check it out.
