Who has the money to waste on leveling services? Do people actualy make a living doing this? Even MMORPG.COM is advertising with them.
http://www.ilevelu.com/What do they do? outsource it to cheap labor? use 3rd party programs?
I would never pay anyone to play my game. Grinding does suck a whole lot but thats why they have auto-it.
I grinded out weaponsmith for SWG in about 2 weeks while not even being home. For stuff as boring and repetative like that, auto-it baby. But pay someone? no way.
And for stuff like where you need to hunt or do a quest? thats just lame.

That's the beauty of this world...everyone has their own opinion.
Although I dont support child labour or gold selling, I dont mind power levellers. Farmers tend to take the piss and ninja loot a lot - power levellers get on with it and have the best of everything at every level so you can have one amazing tank that doesnt speak which I dont personally mind.

Note: PlayNC will refuse to allow you access to your account if you forget your password and can't provide a scanned image of the product key for the first product you purchased..... LOL
With that said, this is for people who've already gotten to 60 at least once and it's not likely for someone who like to just log in, goof off, and then log out. I'm talking about highly competitive raiding guilds interested in world firsts, server firsts, and personal satisfaction. Once you get there, the rest of the game doesn't matter anymore, it's only about learning new encounters and downing them.

That's pretty much how I feel. I really don't have a problem with the power leveling people. The whole gold farming thing. Well i'm still not really for or against it. Just depends on circumstance. (i.e If it's pretty obvious it's destorying the economy)
In War - Victory.
In Peace - Vigilance.
In Death - Sacrifice.
I do not mind the phenomenon as such, I do however have some moral objections into the bussiness as it is run.
Most people are aware how these things are organized and there is a lot of under the table money here that no one really knows were it is ending up.
There are some flashy front side players here like IGE and such, but behind all that there is some shady stuff going on.
If I do not know were my money is ending up I will keep it.

I agree with Umbrood on this one.
I don't really care about a leveling service, I'd never use one because well... what's the point of playing a game but I'm sure for certain people it makes some sort of sense.
What really creeps me out is the business behind the business. Like these poor kids in this new gold farming sweat shops all over the world now??? WTF! Something is seriously wrong with people if your willing to pay a company that abuses people just so you can have your 1k gold or lvl60 ner-o-mage faster.
Important Information regarding Posting and You
What people do with their time and money is their own business. I play mmorpgs for fun. Paying someone else to play it for me isn't fun. I don't think I could even have fun playing someone elses game while they paid me.
Whatever, I don't concern myself with it because that's when the game crosses over and becomes something else. It's only when players inferfere with other players, breaking the EULA or other game/server rules, that I will object and do what I can to prevent this from happeneing.
While I played RF Online, I experienced something I have never seen in any mmorpg. Enforcement of the rules. I just hope that it becomes more common in mmorpgs, so that players all play by the rules, regardless of whether they are paying someone to play for them, or whatever.
It keeps Mexicans and Taiwanese in gainful employment, and that's a good thing. Just ask the World Bank and the IMF.
Seriously, like prostitutes, levelling services cater to a primal and fundamental need. They exist because people want them.
Don't be terrorized! You're more likely to die of a car accident, drowning, fire, or murder! More people die every year from prescription drugs than terrorism LOL!
