SWG whats up?

Hey guys looking for some info about the status of SWG. I played it from realease for about 9 months and stopped playing due to a RL situation. Im trying to get back into a mmorpg and was wondering how this game is. I know the have added some extreme patch to the game and also the expansion. How much has the game been changed. For the better or worse? Whats the big differences?

Any info is appreciated

    I don't have a lot of personal experience with it lately, I'm kind of like you, tried it when it first came out and haven't really played it since.  But my bf tried it a couple of months ago and has stated he doesn't like the new changes.  When he comes home I'll have him type up something more detailed.  But from most people say the changes that have been made aren't the best.

    Me personally it looked fine and everything, I just didn't like all the automated stuff going on in the game, such as entertainers in the bars and stuff.

    I think one of the things too is that it's way easier to level up and become a Jedi now which not everyone likes. 

    Sorry I couldn't be more helpful.  I think they are offering free trials though if you have a super old account (haven't used in over 6 months).  Kind of their way of saying try our new features since you've left, you might enjoy them.  I know SOE did something similar with Everquest because I got an email once witih a link to resign back up for a free 7 day trial using my existing account.  It's actually a neat concept and more companies should do that more often.

    I wont give my opion on this game. I've complained about it enough, i'm sick of me complaining, hehe. Click on the SWG forums on this site and read back a few months.

    It's gotten much, much worse. And from what I hear, the last update broke the trial area and it won't be up for a few days.
