Looking for new MMORPG, suggestions please

Like no one has already said this, lol.

I am a devoted SWG player, but have reached the point that I am quiting after 2 years. I once loved the varity of professions and the options each had, really loved the hybrid option. But, all that is gone & it seems it will not return.

I am looking for suggestions (from other ex-SWG'ers, if possible). I know there are thousands of you out there.

    I played swg since 2003 off and on so I know your predicament well. A bunch of people will say to try Saga of Ryzom since it has the sandbox type feel to it like old pre-cu SWG. All i can say is download the free trial of it to see if you like that game. I liked the trial alot, pretty scenery etc, but then I read about what it is like outside the island and decided not to subscribe to it.

    Currently I am back to playing Dark Age of Camelot. Sure it is an aging game, but the Gareth classic server there is really hopping, good pvp, easy to level now in pve, and the graphics have improved since the time I started the game way back in 2001.

    I would also suggest looking into EQ2, try out the free trial. The game has beautiful graphics, and also has a few pvp servers if you like to pvp.

    Good luck, one day I am hoping SOE will see the light and just run a few pre-cu servers.

    I never played SWG myself, but there is currently a flood of SWG refugees heading to Ryzom.  I am told this is due to its open skill system being the most simular to pre-CU, superb community and support, fun gameplay etc

    And with Ryzom Ring around the corner its a good time to join.

    There is an unlimited time trial at ryzom.com

    Worth a try :)

    haha I just posted a thread like yours 2 days ago.
    and yeah we all miss the old good SWG, all the harvesting, crafting, taming and the At-St, Dark troopers ( imperial I was )

    people suggested The Saga of Ryzom if you are a crafting fan like me,
    I went to their forum and did see some ex-SWG refugees there.
    think the game was released at 2004.....

    I am still thinking abt playing it or not, after all I always prefer playing a great game since the begining ...



    currently playing Hero Online just to kill time.
