Not totally sure. My guess is that it was to balance the numbers a bit since most servers have more rebels then Imperials (everyone wants to be a sister kisser it seems :P). Imperials are usually always outnumbered in Restuss but we did fine pre-chapter 2 and would often clear the Rebels out of the city against all odds. Hopefully they'll change it back.
The PvP at the new bases has been alot of fun though and the NPC's are in moderate numbers. The rewards are certainly worth fighting for too.
More like what isnt? i see 50 pages going now lololol
We're sitting in our offices thinking of ways to upset our paying customers. I think were on track to meet that goal.

I would say the removal of profession diversty. I don't mean 1 professions having a diverse path, which is the chapter 2 effort . I mean The mixing an matching of different professions. Its an old tune that has been sung many times I know, but you did ask.
It's not so much the NGE as the total 180 from what we had to what we have.
Until you cancel your subscription, you are only helping to continue the cycle of mediocrity.

1. Condensation of 34+ professions into 2 (Combat (all of them are the same) and Trader)

I have no idea why so many people want to be a Rebel, look at the uniforms, Imperials look very attractive, in fact I would dare say even sexy, lets face it, when you put on nice shinny white armor, it’s a real chick magnet sort of like my old Baby Blue colored MG. Even the title Rebel solider, compare that to Storm Trooper, lets face it, Imperials are better, we have more style, better names, spiffier outfits, and our stuff is pretty

I always thought that the imps were portrayed just like the nazis in WWII movies (apart from the English accents instead of German), I know they weren't on everyone's favourite list around the 1940's but you can't beat a shiny new pair of goose-stepping jackboots for style and flair.
Yes the imps and nazis looked pretty bad-ass I admit, but Han Solo was a rebel, played by his own rules and still got the hot girl in the bikini. All the imps were speaking like " in the glorious name of the Empire, die rebel scum yada yada". If I was going to work for an organisation like the Imperial Army I'd be hoping for a more friendly environment with a good craic and possibly dental.

Be interesting to see if this is true on all servers or just the one you are on... Also kinda funny. It may actually be that Smedly is actually trying to go along with the actual story now? I mean there were always more SS than rebel forces being clones and all. This is just speculation however and I highly doubt that they would... never did before why start now?

Thats exactly it. Back in the day when SW's first came out, it actually stired up the jewish population in the US. People complained about the fact that they were named after the eliete assassins that hitler used to exterminate the jewish population in germany controlled countries. Lucas should have known better.

The fact that they got rid of the skill based advancement and all but 9 professions (and don't go on about how they 'blended' the professions. Before if I wanted to blend professions I could blend any damn thing I wanted. Now you're stuck with whatever SOE thinks is "Star Warsy and Iconic".
