I've played all three, and if I had to pick one, I would go with EQ2. It is the most fun for me. I didn't play before a lot of the changes that have been made, so I can't tell you how it used to be, but it is more engaging and more fast paced than EQ1, and more varied and interesting than WoW, IMO. I even like the crafting! And I always said I hated crafting! That part of the game is more challenging than WoW and not as dull as EQ1.  Also, I don't play a lot, and I am pretty laid back, so I feel like EQ2 has just the right balance of challenge and progress for ME. YMMV.

My husband got kidnapped by gnolls. Nothing like that ever happened to us in those other games.

With that said, I am not playing EQ2 now because my husband went back to EQ1. He has a lot of friends there and he really enjoys the endgame there. I tried to play EQ1 again, but it didn't work out for me. My husband ended up taking over my account(s) too.  So, I am not really playing anything now.

I've played all 3 and currently play EQ2  (9 months ago I chose not to play any of the above but the changes they have made to EQ2 have made it vastly better)

I'll just leave it at that.

I have played all three of the games, and can honestly say i would "and still do" play EQ2.

I do not agree with all the changes and dumbing down of the game, but over all it is still a remarkable game in comparrison to WoW and EQ1.  Now dont get me wrong, EQ1 was a landmark for MMO games, but it is just not as appeling to me anymore as it use to be.

As for WoW, i didnt really care for the game at all.  I think the community is one of the biggest parts of a mmo game, and WoWs community seemed to lack what the community of EQ2 has.

what answer do you expect to get in the EQ2 forum?

I played all 3 and I would say at the moment EQ2 is the best. :)

EQ1 is still fun with the progression servers.

WoW...boring and sucks in terms of gameplay

EQ2 is the best "everquest type" game out right now. Lots of depth, good crafting, and loads of content

Is the station access pass worth getting now, I mean EQ1 with prog servers, EQ2 and all the packs plus an extra 4 slots. Is it worth buying now, seems like a good deal to me?

If you still play EQ1 or plan to play Vanguard SOH when its released, then yeah, the station access is well worth it.  I still toy around on my EQ1 account from time to time, but really i only keep the access because i get the adventure packs free and i do plan on playing Vanguard SOH.

Hmmm, call me MR skeptical but station access has gone up in price, there's nothing to stop SoE ramping the price up again when Vanguard is released. They may also change the structure and have tiered price plans, after all you will be getting 2 premium games. I'm just not convinced that the pass will keep it's current price.

Oh and what about when SoE release their superhero mmorpg, I predict a bronze, silver and gold (maybe plat) access pass or something similar.
