LIke to solo.. Can you do this in this game

in Dark Age of Camelot

IM looking for a decent mmorpg that will let me solo and not be force fed to group..I have a medical condition that i have to stop playing on a dime with no explanation..But i do enjoy grouping on my good days where im able to play.. Never played here.. I realize that to get the better gear and level faster is to be in a group.

So can one level and get reasonable gear solo or is there a after hitting a certain level you have to group.. And i do not enjoy pvp so i guess asking.. Could i enjoy this game with what i asked? Thanks

    Yes very easily.  I would suggest that if you have to stop at certain times you cannot plan around, then play on the "Classic" servers.  The only time you would need to be in a group or larger is to go through an expansion called Trials of Atlantis.  This would require grouping.  This expansion is not on the classic servers so if you play there then you should have no problem soloing.

    He can very easily solo dungeons like Darkspire?  Uhm, no.

    You need help eventually in any MMO.

    Actually wrong there. i soloed fine in eq to 70 and have decent equipment, and soloed wow easily. Just want to try something different. Also soloed COH easily also.. Having  cancer (im Winning)  and being home alot gives me alot of time to play heh.Just makes it hard to group is all.

    If your not gonna rvr (pvp) much, you can get decent enough equipment by soloing and buying. Make sure you dont choose a class that is hard to solo with tho.

    Make a necro and solo 'till your heart's content.

    You can farm later.

    If you do not group, the grind monster will get to you eventually... I tried resubscribing  a month ago, got to level 8 and got bored so much that  i cried through my ears... the game is just too deserted at lower levels :(



    I am the type of player where I like to do everything and anything from time to time.
