This is for everyone 100% against the playplus billing system.
Why are you like..Ohh NOEESS boycott this ..yada yada yada. Codemasters is just smart. They might as well sell in game stuff becouse if they dont. there are lots of 3rd party companies that will. its the same any way you go. Why not make a buck off it instead of spending extra resources trying to ban gold farmers, ebayers..etc etc etc. If they do playplus or not, people will still buy items all the same.

So now the reason why I will boycott this, is I never spend RL money to get something and I will not start with this game. For me, this game is dead. I know too many ppl in MMO that we don't need to pay to get stuff, we help each other.
Why not make a buck off it? What will be the next thing they charge you: Oh! Wait! That web site charge for leveling their toon, Oh! Wait! Let's make a buck off it, everytime you level you have to pay us. So like I said you don't have the choice with this system.

So, can you tell me all about it? because obviously you have already played with this new system,you know exactly how it works, you know exactly what kind of items can be received with credits, so you can already tell everybody how much it sucks.

Lets see how it does in Beta, it is still us, the players, that matter. But useless "its dead" crap wont help, it even ruins this.

And this is why the Codemastres actualy care about their costumers and are asking to TEST the system in beta and even after beta. And that's why if most of us don't like it, they will rethink of a new payment system. Imo, I said most, not just afew. It seems many people have gotten used to the idea of the PlayPlus system. So stop judgeing the damn thing and just give it a try.

also... you guys do realize that you can't buy things like weapons, armor, etc with these credits... only temporary power-ups and consumables (many of which DO NOT stack) ... all you whiners have taken a miniscule issue and transformed and twisted it in your minds into a huge catastrophic thing without even seeing it in action.
Um, what's RL money? I can't be real money, because you would have to be the lazies (or stupidest) person on earth to not be able to spell real. C'mon, it's four (4) little letters and you already used two of them, plus you held down the shift key which almost counts as two more. At first I was against the idea. But now that I read a little about, I think it could do a lot for the longevity of the game. First of all, it makes the monthly fee around five dollars cheaper per month. Secondly, everyone gets some monthly credits to purchase consumables. Third, the prices for items (potions, etc.) will be reasonable so a lot of people use the system.
If you've ever played a game like World of Warcraft, where these consumables are absolutely necesary, yet require hours and hours and grinding to pay for or craft, then you'd understand how this system could be valuable. If your too lazy to grind, pay a small fee for your potions. If not, then by all means spend hours farming for stupid crap you need for harder things.
To use real money to buy online items for this game, wow that's pretty pathetic, sounds to me that Codemasters will become the next SoE. Selling online game item for real money LMAO, that's a good joke.
All in all, this makes the game cheaper for people who refuse to spend RL money IN a game even though they will spend a monthly fee ON the game (same difference imo) and afford only a SLIGHT advantage to those willing to spend a little extra (keep in mind everyone gets free credits every month to buy those consumables).
I doubt they will be the next SoE. SoE is a bunch of greedy **** and CM is far away from that status.
Did you do a reasearch on what you can actually buy for the credits? I guess not...
