I just thought it would be a good idea to make this topic so people can find out what and all is being done to make another expansion for AC.

Please post any news, facts, and rumors about the expansion.

both Ibn and jessica already gave a hint in hidden words on several post regarding. i have seen most reply they said...

most posts i read they said, and didnt said (No we dont) and i think they couldnt reveal what they are doing or planning due to their job contract force them not to reveal. otherwise they would lost their job or face lawsuit for breaking NDA's CoC.

so they have skirted or avoided by saying something else beside saying yes or no. that give away and we just have to wait bit longer.

so let just assumed or speculated of possible that is in the work and may takes 1-2 years plus fine-tunings.

remember when they said no when we ask for any new islands, months later marrae lassel islands, and following year later alphuas lassel opened. we do know there is more islands sighted and unreachable by any means, we just have Asheron's Island "reopened" 2-3 months ago.

last known visit was during Bael'Zharon and very few players got on thru invitation and got retired "Shadow stones" for atlans. it is there and the devs need time and have story related with unexplored islands. just give them time.

Yeah not sure if we keep asking them if they'll do it are not, seems they have alot on there plate as of late. They are doing D&D and LoTR and think one or two others. But what the Heck I'd love to see a new expansion with Graphic updates at least to maybe bring in some new blood.

If I might ask? Were is everyone getting any info about a new expanion for asherons call? I can find nothing on either www.asheronscall.com or turbine web page talking about it. Please email me or message me here!

AC1 and AC2 will be available in stores again soon. Turbine will be releasing it under their own name instead of through Microsoft Games.

I dont think they will be re-releasing to the stores but if you go here http://ac.turbinegames.com/ you will be able to purchase a CD key and download the client via same site...

I recently downloaded game from web and started playing again. My toons for 1 year ago were still there...to funny. AC2 graphics...AC1 content...please turbine make it happen. Game of the year is yours for the taking!!!!

Won't happen. They don't want to lose the players in AC1 with older systems so they are just doubling the resolution of the game and doing a lot of new art.

Maybe AC1 + AC2 will = AC3 eventually though.

What will happen in the near future will probably be something like Turbine putting up a few new servers and putting out a new retail of the game, then in the long term they will remake AC through this new expansion.

So in essence, this remodeled form of AC will be like a AC 3.

I had a lot of fun in the original AC, I'm sure they will remake it just as fun, if not more.
