Im so sick of only getting 4 hours of sleep a night just to keep up with the losers that live in there Mommies basement with no jobs that play 24/7. I have the money to burn. I work 50 hours a week, juggle a wife. And now i can just buy what i am missing while working and entetaining the wife. The US needed a MMO like this. I am 100% for the payment system this game uses.

Keep in mind those "loosers" can and more than likely will be taking advantage of the Payment Plan as well as the Players who work for the RMT Sites.

Shut the face. I don't have as much time to play MMOs as those people either, but $40 a month for a game is way too much, and if you want to see all the games cost $40 a month from here on out, then go burn in hell. I have more than enough money to pay it, but to pay that much for a game is just rediculous.

This payment plan is a joke.

Think this is the answer for you casual players, what makes you think the players that are concidered hardcore wouldnt be the people to take the most advantage of this silly billing system, if they have enough time to play long hours it is safe to assume they are finalcially stable enough to pay for that added advantage.

This will just be a new method for casual players like the OP to bitch and moan about being owned on a new level. I cant wait to see this game start those "whos to blame threads" like starwars galaxys. And have this game deteriorate onto the list of free with option to pay MMO, like gunbound and the rest of the games not worth a monthly fee.

I don't quite understand how it would be "safe to assume" anyone with "long hours available" to play a video game would be financially stable. I've found quite the opposite in my online travels. The people I play with sparingly usually have a life to attend to (which usually means a job/family etc). The ones that I find on my favorite game when I log on, log off... and in between are often broke... late 20's, 30's, divorced over-weight and living in thier mother's basement.

On that note... I do think the payment plan is a bit whacky. I think if I decided to play archlord for $40.00 a month, I'd have to consider cancelling my 4 EvE online accounts (4 x $14.99). Or maybe not since I could train them whilst playing Archlord!

IF you have ever gotten angry at an ebayed character or a farmer ruining the economy then concider yourself a hypocrite if you support this system in anyway. I cant see any other way to put it, this is no different from gold selling, this game might as well be run by IGE, or someother gold selling company.

You do know what you can buy for those credits you get ? No? To bad, no h4xXoR Sword of "i kill everyone with 1hit" and no Armor of Godlike protection. And thats the difference between it, with IGE/ebay whatever you could and screw over peoples like it is in L2.
You could do some research on it but meh, i guess you dont care and also not to try it out in beta since regarding to the dev's its gonna be tested mainly in beta to see how it works. If it doesnt it will be either dumped or tweaked.
I'm a farmer and ebayer cuz im gonna play AL? *sigh* (and no excuses since they are the same as PlayPlus you said ::::06:: )

Why? have you already seen it working? have you already seen all the items you can get from the system? wait for beta, where the system will be tested, and THEN give the thumbs up or thumbs down.

This is totaly different from ebaying. For one thing, in order to ebay, you have to have farmers/botters getting IN GAME MONEY to ebay off of.
AL is not doing that.
Second, it isn't the botters or farmers making the money from it, it's the actual game itself and everyone playing the game. They get the money, we get better updates. Make sense?
Third, the system can work out well, or it can go out badly. Who knows. I know you don't. Instead of judging it, why not give it a chance.

And than if you don't like it, go play another game. That simple.

geez people... lay off the hate on this billing plan! It is just a game, if you dont like any aspect of a game this much...THEN DONT PLAY!!!!!!! I hate people whinning about something that is out of their comfort zone. Take a risk once in awile. I like how you only have to pay $10 a month, unlike $15 and up. This, in my mind, would get rid of the money selling by people who just sit there and farm. I dont care if people buy more stuff with money, btw they can do it illegally anyways. Codemasters are not just being greedy, they are just thinking harder than any other developer to minimize buying money illegally. Yes, I said illegally twice, but now they made it legal. At least codemasters are trying to improve, rather than just copying another game design. This game looks great for now and it will constantly change in the future. So sit tight, read up on reviews that are not just spamming "I hate this billing system", and most importantly PLAY FOR YOURSELF WHEN THE GAME COMES OUT! Games are based on relationships with other people and skill, NOT JUST MONEY!

For all the people who hate this review:

Get a job, go to school, get a degree in game design, then make your own damn game. Then you can decide on what goes on in the game.

I'll wait until beta and the first month of the game. If I feel it's unfair ... then I vote with my wallet. Simple as that. No need to bellow on forums about it. There are enough good MMO's coming out in the next half year or so that this one will have to provide promised content and balance to be sucessful.

Hopefully it will be as fun as I believe that it has potential to be.

I live in my mother's upstairs bedrooom. Does that make a difference. I am divorced, working a job that doesn't pay what I'd like, and going to school part-time to get a job that will pay better.

In the meantime my only source of entertainment is my dear MMO games. Currently playing WoW, but definitely ready to move to something more challenging.

I am willing to pay the $40 a month because like i said, it really is my only entertainment for now. Once I get my debt paid off and purchase a home etc. hopefully I will be going out and shagging some ladies again and xploring the real world once more. But for now, I am willing to pay for some good MMO fun!

I think we will all have a blast in AL with or without this payplus pricing plan.
