Okay, here it is -- the final word (well, heh, maybe) on the status of inviting new testers to Beta 3 from Brad McQuaid....

posted today, 8/9

update: we should be bringing in brand new people by the end of the week!

The smart money is on tomorrow, Thursday, (or very shortly after) since all the beta phases so far have started on a Thursday.

Only waiting on that announcement that they have SENT OUT the new invites.

(Also noted that the OVF seem back to normal, indicating a successful return of the old testers to Beta 3.)

(Note: there was a glitch in e-mailing some invites to old testers, so the new testers will begin to be invited on Friday.)

    All in all, it will take a month or two to invite  thousands of people into beta.
    It is vague at this point. There are so many queues and selection pools.

    Good news indeed.  So I suppose invites shoudl start going out from Thursday - Saturday.  Although I would think Thurs/Friday would be a more likely day.   HUZZAH!  CHeers to Sigil!

    That sounds right.

    With maybe 10,000 testers to invite, that's not going to happen all at once.

    They will spread the invites out over some weeks.

    Some of us will undoubtedly get invited, so we should probably develop a secret handshake or something since we won't be able to talk about it.

    update:
    a bunch of existing testers should be sent emails tomorrow morning.
    There was a problem such that none could be sent out today


    And then hopefully Friday we start sending out brand new people emails as well -- I'll keep you posted.

    I doubt if I will make it to this beta either...keep ing my fingers crossed again.
    but its nice when things move in a positive direction in a timely manner

    I say that every person in the world gets a beta invite but me.    Ok maybe not, but still I just have bad luck so I know i aint getting one.

    yes this is good news been following this game development for sometime now..../rolls the dice for beta tester invite slot!
