On the DnL main site there is a news report about the current situation of this comedy.
http://www.darkandlight.net/article.php3?id_article=2621

"All the owners of a Dark and Light key will therefore benefit from free full access to the game during that period.

         The access key of the
Dark and Light game remains available for sale to any player wanting to
take part in the project at the price of USD$39.99 (39,99€ Taxes
included)."

Notice they are now calling it a project - NOT a game ..... hmmmm

    Wow...

    Shocking....

These guys get a big F- for public relations/promotions.  I read that 'announcement' and it is just awful.  Embarassing..

    I am speechless

Woohoo!! I'm gonna go get a fresh tub of popcorn and a super-sized drink! Looks like we might start getting some more DnL forum entertainment

The way I see things is that they thought the SOG beta test would work itself out in the 6 months between December and June. This however did not happen due to incompetence at the DEV level. Therfore they needed to delay another 6 months but knew a riot would insue both externally (SOG pioneers) and internally (investors).

Therefore they decide to release a buggy POS early to allow additional testers to buy their way in and gain some badly needed funding to continue testing. So I say this is just another delay of release just hidden in other disguises.

I haven't really followed DnL but I just took a look at that announcement and I have to say it seems they are blaming the fans for the state of the game whilst patting themselves on the back for a job well done! Amazing that they blame the fans for releasing too early

Look up the words "farce" and "scam". There should be big pictures of Farlan, his crew, and DnL right next to the definitions.

Dark & Light flopped because of an extremly arrogant Lead developer called Vauur..!

Instead of listening and conversing with the DnL fanbase and getting suggestion after SoG  flopped, he hid his head like a little girl and flammed the naysayers in a private chat for the bad publicity SoG/DnL received.

Yea Vuuar really did end up being just a big idiot who couldnt develop his way out of a wet paper bag. The mods on that site were pretty stupid too
