Nuff said?? what the hell are you talking about? Thrones looks ten times better and is being made by seasoned PRO's. DF is amateur vapor. Even their website looks like amateur junk.
That makes more sense than the rest of your post. Thanks for your re-assuring words that the people who follow DF need more patience for this beautifully-crafted game to come out perfectly.

Just looked at the TOC website. First impressions time.
To say that I wasn't overally impressed would be saying one thing. The screenshots look decent,but I don't judge a game solely from screenshots. There's no proper videos,just some 'face' animations it seems.
The only thing I really see is 'Q1 2007 launch date'. Sounds like LAS have got a lot of work to 'rush' this game out in 6-7 months. And when's the beta date?
And it has seemingly ignorant fanboys like you talking about it. You could have said 'I think ToC will offer a decent competition for Darkfall,due to having a release date set in stone and similiar gameplay'. No,you had to talk trash. I respect admirable criticism,but when all people say is "ToC good,DF vaporware",it doesn't really say anything in the one-liners. Try dev quotes,essays and longer points.
If anything lysanding,you've put me off PLAYING ToC. If you have anything like alpha videos or E3 coverage or gameplay videos,please PM me otherwise to prove me wrong.
But your actions suggest otherwise.
Saying DF is vapor and then advertising ToC takes away every shred of credibility you might have.
Darkfall will come out in 2007 and when that happens, ToC is done for. And thank god for that, one idiot less spamming these forums.
ToC might have potential, but I'm not holding my breath. Guess since it comes out next spring we should see beta anytime right? And now is the time to sign up on the forums there, to be ready for beta sign up. Not hard to get picked out of 1500 people.
Oh, and the 'seasoned pros'. Just because its in the faq, it doesn't mean its true. :P

at least some of their devs actually have resumes you can read and confirm...
and how is believing that any different than the people who have been following darkfall for the last 6 years believing it's going to turn into what the devs "say its going to be" just based off of their dev promises? i havent seen one thing from darkfall released over who knows how many years that actually backs up everything they got in their faq. they released some alpha videos that show maybe 5% of what they have "planned" after all these years.

And you only drop one thing when you die, lol what? Wasn't this game supposed to be kinda hardcore pvp? In UO you dropped everything and even on AC-DT you dropped like 14 items when you died. So maybe it has safezones too? We don't really know, not that much info available..
First of all, everyone who have ever tried the game (paid to play beta etc.) says it sucks donkey balls. Have you seen some of the animations? It looks like sh't much worse than Shadowbane. Ok so they have produces some nice landscape just like DnL. Other than that they don't have alot. The game is a joke..
Of course we don't know 100% DF will be "amfg uber le pwn" but I having followed the game since 2001 still have a really good feeling about it. First of all we have developers who are hardcore pvp'ers - I know this first hand having played with them - they are really making the game they have always dreamt of playing themselves. The game concept is solid, and devs have stayed true to it ever since the beginning without faltering.
Screens look nice - personally I really like them - some people are not so impressed, but thats a matter of preference. We have seen vids that confirm the fastpaced fps like pvp.
They were naive when they made a declaration about beta back in 2003, thats true. But hey shit happens. I am pretty sure they will realease a nice and solid game - and I sure as hell am 100% it will be waaay superiour to Mourning in all aspects - I feel sad for the TOC fanboi's, they are in for a big disappointment.

Uh oh, I wonder if they've fixed that for Thrones of Chaos. Its not just a little update either, its deep withing their core code.
I had a hilarious video of Mourning too, but I cant find it any more (which clearly is due to their blanket removal of anything whatsoever negative toward their game.)

Theres only one truth here really, about thrones of chaos/mourning/age of mourning/age of hoax/whatever they named it next, and that is, its
THE BIGGEST VAPORWARE OF ALL TIMES!

The problem is that MMORPG.com doesn't have a 'ToC' forum. I find this surprising considering the launch date of ToC is "Q1 2007" according to the website. I guess the ToC fanboys are using this forum as a temporary ToC forum; but all they're doing is making their community/game like s**t-headed fanboys (it isn't by the way. I've signed onto their forums with a post about how I heard about ToC from said trolls as a new user intro,and no flaming occurred.) and promoting Darkfall as a superior game.
Moronic ToC trolls; I salute you! Keep up the good work on promoting Darkfall!
You can't seriously be suprised that it doesn't have a forum here, can you? Have a look at the link to a topic on these forums that was posted by Khael San, should fill you in....
Also I find it humorous that the dev that joshuaPhiil was referring to had the location of "London england, England." Professional with a capital E.
Any decent ToC follower clearly hasn't heard of or seen their history, since they had a mass exodus from that game that made SWG look like a couple of people decided that it wasn't for them.
I don't think its possible at all that ToC will release spring next year. They haven't made any real word of a beta, suggesting that they aren't ready to show off the game yet, and Darkfall appears to be further in development than them and they haven't made any date like that.
And what is up with their default blue and white forum scheme. You can't tell me that darkfall looks less professional than that.
Why does these boards keep getting invaded by Mourning/Throne of Chaos people?
Oh yeah, MMORPG.com removed Mourning/Throne of Chaos from the site and now these gimps have nothing else to do here but to boast their flawed game and bash the most promising upcoming MMORPG title out there, even though Darkfall might just be vapor.
But I have my hopes up, because Ive been following it since the beginning. ^^
