Top 10 sucky mmorpgs.

Ok i will list the 10, you all just give reasons why they should be or shouldnt be there! The order i put these in doesnt mean they are the most suckiest just that i picked 10 that were sucky.

10. The matrix online
9. Dark and light
8. EQ2
7.Horizons
6. The new Ultima online
5. RF online
4. Lineage II
3. Shadowbane
2. Auto assult
1. Trickster online.

    This "NEW EQ2" just isnt fun. I tried it got bored, mostly because it was hard to find people even on highly populated servers.

    If there was a Zero, then it would be the new SWG and if there was a negative one, then it would be Maple Story for sure.

    eq2 and l2 made your list and games like Roma victor and maplestory did not!

    What about second life and sim online?

    EQ2 continues to suck and always will.  They f**k with that game more frequently and more drastically than any other MMO on the market, and it is still completely broken, broken as hell.  Every time i've played it I'm always thinking "this would be great if they just fixed this, changed that, updated that, did this..."  Well guess what, it's never going to happen.

    It has the most powerful engine of any MMO on the market today--by far.  Yet the art and design is awful.  They fired 90% of the art staff after release, so most every new / changed item is either a) a simple recolor / retexture of something or b) an original design that looks like it was made by gradeschoolers (brigand hat?).  Nothing comes together properly, playing it feels like driving a car put together from random peices of junk.

    An example:  It took them over 8 months to fix it so that fish would not chase you out of the water AND FOLLOW YOU ACROSS LAND!

    Its worthless, no wonder they've already had to merge servers once.

    Top 10 worthless MMOs...in no particular order:

    1.  EQ2 - see above
    2.  Dark and Light - does ANYONE like this game?
    3.  Ryzom - Awful once you get off the island
    4.  DDO - OOOOOooh i can be level 10
    5.  RF-Online - *shudder*
    6.  Hero online - looks like it was made in 1999
    7.  Silkroad - fun for 2 days, then a poor-man's L2 grind
    8.  Auto Assault - LOL
    9.  SWG - Not great to begin with, ruined anyway by SOE
    10.  Horizons - mmmm....no.

    Out of your list i would take out hero online and silkroad i mean their free, but id add sims online because WTF? and id add shadowbane, i mean shadowbanes may be free but who the hell would have charged for that game in the first place?

    How's about listing poorly made games instead of games that you just don't like? I don't like World of Warcraft and I think Oblivion is boring, but I can't say those games are poorly made. But just because I don't like the game, I can't make the blanket statement that the game sucks.

    Lol most of the posters can't seem to understand the difference between "Games you don't like" and games that are sucky.

    WoW is a game I don't like but it def does not suck. EQ2 I liek and it doesnt suck. Eve is great tho its a niche game and I like it. Ryzom likewise is a good game. There are quite a few games deserving to be on the sucky list but these 4 do not.

    Not true at all.  Suck and not suck are just are matter of opinion.  Just because someone thinks something sucks, doesn't make it true.  The same way I could I argue that I think WoW is great game.   Still wouldn't make it true, just my own opinion.  Having 5+ million subscribers doesn't mean WoW is good either.  Comes down to personal taste in the end.

    Awww.. Did you try to do ACM in a heavy bomber, hoping to shake that spit of your tail? Or did you perhaps rush foolheaded into an city, not realising that skilled marksmen, who can shoot you from 500m with an unscopped rifle, exists?

     Well when you say sucky mmo, I'm assuming you mean production quality, lag, bugs ....etc. People have different tastes but I think the factors I mentioned, are not a matter of opinion. Its either done right and therefore does not suck or its done badly (like DnL for example) and therefore does suck.

    In no order:

    -There. Poor comparison to Second Life these days.

    -Knight Online. Lag more.

    -Dark and Light,obviously.

    -Trickster Online. They need to work on their website skills.

    -Face of Mankind. Only joining the GoM made this good for me,but shooting system sucked balls.

    -Lineage 2. Stay away from me; no game should make you tweak your graphical settings each time to play the game. And grindfest also.

    -Silkroad Online. Grind anyone?

    -DaoC. Just,urgh.

    -Hero Online. Comes close to Knight Online for absolute POS.

    -Legend of Ares.

    4. Silk Road Online - I'm sure I was playing Lineage 2!

    3. D&D Online - If it's not D&D, and it's not an MMO, how is it a D&D MMO?

    10.Runescape-Terible Community

    9.Maple Story-Grindfest

    8.Dark And Light-Y do ppl still play this

    7.SWG-Has gone no where these days

    6.WoW-Bad end game

    5.Horizons-Just al around bad game

    4.Roma Victor-Disapointing

    3.Ryzom-Bad game after island

    2.Second Life- Y pay for it?

    1. (Note:this is the worst game) There- a terrible game

    I wouldn't include WoW or EQ2 in lists like these cause well they really aren't sucky. WoW is about as poilished as an MMO gets. Blizzard did a top notch job with it. The only single determining factor whether anyone plays WoW is if its design and implementation appeals to the person playing it. Same with eq2 now, SOE did a great job with refining it, much better game now than at launch.

    Anyway my list

    3) Saga of Ryzom
    4) Knight Online
    5) AO
    6) Horizons
    7) The Matrix Online
    8) DDO
    9) Second Life
