DDO actually tunred me off to MMO's for awhile. LotR looks good eventhough it's another Turbine game. I dont think LOTR will be any good at all. Name a good game cept for AC1 that was good by them? AC was fun back in the day but missed a lot of stuff.
AOC will take its time to arrive, as for me I just hope it wont be another grinder, as i am tired of these cheap korean game, wondeing if AOC will b any good, but iam not getting my hopes up.
And speaking of Wow, its out of the question its near its end, Wow is suffering for its lack of boredem after 60 and the inmuture community.
Eve, well lets just say its ment for muture people for the rest of the young players eves getting flamed on by them, to me great idea of a game... but way to boring.
As for GW, which I play is slowly taking Wows path, not due to community but due to the endless nerfs in the game, as for now I wiat for a better game... >.<
since these are the most talked about games atm..... I fugured I post it up since I havent been on the forms for a while, in hopes of AOC being a good game.
I totally agree with this topic - I'm thinking that WoW has raised our expectations on the mmorpg worlds, what I'm tired the most of is all these crappy little low budget ones that are popping up all over the place, you get these really nice pictures like on the box cover to attract you then when you go to the game site you see garbage graphics.
Ive been through alot of open betas, closed betas and game-buying this year. So far no MMORPG has kept my attention.
WoW ? boring. Laghole, and just not fun.
SWG? Would have been great if the cost wasnt so high, cant afford 12 pound a month.
Currently im looking forward to the zombie-based MMORPG in development, and i sighned up for the new LOTR beta, though i sincerly doubt my cpu will actually take it...then again its a mirical worker.
All in all ive spent all my time on Counter-Strike this year, playing zombie-mods on CS:Source, and watching alot of movies :P
Although, i did spend several months playing Phantasy Star Online - The original, on a private server. Now that was fun, but i got bored of the constant repeating enemies.
