Is there anywhere you can download the WoW client? Most games do that and then you can just purchase the registration key n all that jazz and get ur account up and running from the convienience of your home..If any of you can help please repost!

There are a few sites that you can download the original beta client from, which i believe still works as an installation, but it would be fruitless for two reasons;
1 - The download plus all of the updates from then to now would be 3-4Gb and even with a fast broadband connection that is gonna take a fair while.
&
2 - Even when you have downloaded the client, you will still need a valid unused CD-Key to complete the installation.
Basically, it is going to be far easier to go buy the game. You can pick it up for £18 from Play or Gameplay with free postage and that will mean that you always have a copy of the client and you will get your first 30 days free with it.
It must be Thursday, i never could get the hang of Thursdays.
The Disk will still need patching, but not as much as most downloads. (Remeber to portforward the DLer. 90% of the complaints are from slow net users or people who can't portforward, I DLed the updates at around 500 kb/s)
Anyway, I suggest a trip to the store, ususally better to have a hardcopy of the game.

The CD Key is attached to the account you have. It is not related to the game installation in any way.
Well i don't think that this is entirely true as you can only get one by buying a CD pack because as far as i know (and i stand corrected if wrong) you cannot buy a key on it's own as yet, at least not officially.

what he meant is that once you used the cd-key to open your account, that's it. you can use any and all cds or donwloaded clients you like, as long as you have a valid account name and password and game time
You do not NEED to reinstall the game with the same cds you got when you bought the game.

There ain't no difference between a "trial" client and a "full" client for MMorpgs. what changes is the Key. but you already have an account, so you do not need one and the client will work normally.
