It seems pretty dumb to me for anyone to think that the EVE Fanbois have been doing the same thing for the last 3yrs. (yes, I had an account before this one) To me that just seems like one of those crazy ass conspiracy theories just like the Loose Change Video.

The fact is, MMORPG.com itself has given EVE the highest rating out of any MMO on their list and if you go to ANY game review site, EVE will have a VERY good rating by the professional critics. That's not a fluke. The game is very well done.

The Log On screen of EVE Online must have a subliminal message telling everyone who logs on to come to MMORPG.com and rate EVE 10s all around and give it a good (well thought out mind you, unlike some other games out there ::::15::) review.

What does this tell me? It tells me that majority of you are just crazy. I mean, literally crazy and you need to seek professional help. Believng in conspiracy theories is not a healthy way to lead a life.

    the reviews part doesn't go along with your theory. or else World of Warcraft would be on top now.
    this forum is just home to a lot of EVE playes, thats all.

    so...what is your point? Anybody can make a vote, that really doesn't say anything about the amount of visitors.

    Not to mention alt accounts up here. That little "theory" about people making dummy accounts just to rate their game up.

    You know what? Those of us who don't like Eve just give you guys a hard time because you get so mad about it. Oh and there's that thing, where Eve players call people WoW kiddies and Immature or too stupid to grasp the game because it's so "complex". LMAO! So IMO Eve sucks, in your opinion it rocks. You're not gonna change my mind and I'm not gonna change yours.

    Oh. I don't care. I'm disputing the Conpiracy Theory that keeps coming up.

    I actually don't have an EVE account, atm. I don't have the time to play so I'm not gonna pay.

    so..? You still don't have to play the game to make a review of it, thats why the reviews are so biased.

    I play game A, so I give it a high rating
    I don't play game B, so I give it a low rating.

    I suspect for every "fanboi" who has made an alt account to rank eve high there is a "hateboy" who has done the exact same thing to ranke eve low.   It all comes out in the wash kiddies.

    EvE is well over 3 years old now.   It has scored well on many other sites as well.  It is a good game.   You don't have to like it.  You don't have to play it.   But the numbers and the increasing subscription base does not lie.   It is successful and doing well.

    I came out with an Average Review from Cerrian's list of professional game reviews of EVE online.

    The Average Pro Review of EVE-Online is 7.67/10

    Everything was made into 10 by doubling if it was x/5. As for the B+ I did 4.5 because ABCDF = 5 so it would be an x/5.

    I actually found out about this site through the EVE client a while back. They put up a link on the startup/login page so players would come and rate the game. EVE is a big fan of MMORPG.com and visa versa.

    I play EVE and I would play it even if it was rated 1.0 overall.

    WHO CARES what the rating is here.  Why is everyone so uptight about EVE's rating ??

    100 years from now it wont matter.

    Give it a rest.

    Hehe, this is very accurate, and funny.

    What is even more funny with the cult of EVE followers is that they always claim it requires brains, patience and cools to play and enjoy it and one just have to write a single bad line about the game and they loose all those abilities in a heartbeat, debunking what they just said.

    Its like shaking an antfarm allthough less cruel and more fun.

    I played EVE quite a bit, to 3m SP or so and allthough I did not find it bad in any way I have had screensavers that offer more excitement and action.

    But each to their own, I have the brains to realise my opinion is my own, and even more importantly other people are actually entitled to theirs.

    I just hope the Cult of EVE never grasps this because that would take away a lot of fun.

    Also I think the EVE community is the worst there is, their forums are filled to the brink with people that have some form of OCD to try to come across as a badass regardless of the topic, it is hillarious to see them stumble over oneanother trying to sound "cooler" then the next guy.

    Hillarious but also sad once you realise what broken human beings there must be behind those posts.
