Silkroad vs. Hero Online

in Silkroad Online

Just recently I started playing Hero Online and I find a lot of similarities between these games. There is a lot of things that are introduced in one that could be used by another and I'm interested in your opinion on it? Try it out with Hero Online. I'm pretty sure that if you are into Silkroad, then you will like Hero... And if you don't like SRO then maybe Hero will give you the things that SRO is lacking.

It's always good to have a backup in case you will get bored and tired with endless grinding and need to switch monsters or get some new pets

    The reason i play silkroad is because of the caravan system. In other games when you're bored you think: "hmm, what should i do now?". Then you realise that the only thing you can do is grinding.

    ok first of all i was gonna get hero but i was like wtf when it asked me my phone adress and stuff is that free or what

    Although silkroad is far from being a complete game,i'd still say it's far above hero online.It took me longer to sign-up/download the game,than it took me to delete it from my HD.The camera movement is god aweful and the players even look cheaper than silkroad.I was gonna try that other MGAME ,but after HERO ill have to pass bigtime.

    Same here. I think that a large considered a free game is pretty much wonderful. Unlike Hero online which you need something like you need to buy the game or something.

    Actually you don't have to pay for Hero Online. It will remain F2P forever [at least that is what developers are saying] - it has the same system as SRO - online store. I'm playing right now both of the games and agree completly that Hero needs a lot of tweaking before it will be an SRO competition, but if you like that type of games in my opinion it will be worth checking out from time to time for new updates.

    I now that when SRO will get european update and new maps it will be hard to beat again for a while, but there are few things that could be implemented from Hero - for example GM quizes that can be helpfull against botting and reward system for the number of killed monsters - that would for sure increase the number of people playing the game and not whining about endless hours of grinding for exp and few crappy things.

    Accually a big difference between Hero online and SRO is the graphics, Hero online just has kinda lame graphics. But it has some cool things also ( more jobs and pets than SRO), but still SRO is way better   .

    I like both games SRO is a great game and hero online 2 but i choose for SRO

    Its has nice graficks and hero online 2 but SRO more. :P

    I was depressed, when I saw the character creation in Silkroad Online, now I'm gonna play Hero in a few minutes.

    EDIT: Hero Online is even worse, Couldn't even get past the character selection for weird reasons.

    oh I dont like what Im reading here.
    I was really happy to download hero but now I dont know u all say its stupid.
    but i have to try Im boored in SRO I have 2 charakters lvl 70 and lvl 64 and I dont know what else to do in SRO

    All i can say for SRO
    THERE ARE A LOT OF NOOBS they bought lvl 70 acc and they dont even know how to play with and thats sad :(
    I hope in Hero will be diferent

    Hero and SRO are two pretty good games. but they can get boring very fast.

    all they have is killing monsters, and some other single PvPs.

    should try Knight Online, a F2P game, it is much more fun, two opposing nations, and alot more PvP options and zones.

    more charicter custmizations, and less grindings.

    Plus 2 better movement types.

    -click and drag, my favorite.

    Silkroad is way better in many ways. Better graphics intertwined job system. Way better sound system.(hero has terrible sounds)Silkroad just owns!
