MMORPGs On Consoles?

I was just wandering... Are there going to be big MMORPG projects for the PS3, Xbox 360 or the Wii? I don't have a console, but I'm thinking of buying one. I think a MMORPG on a console will be very popular, if you add some new elements. I also think that you need to solve the 'controller-no-mouse' problem. Please say what you think about console MMORPGs, or have you already know something that may come? A PS3 version of WoW maybe?

    X-Box 360 comes with mouse and keyboard support.

    With an HDTV..large screen..I'd MUCH rather play on the console.  Just more stable and reliable than computers.  I've never used Vent or custom UIs, so those are no problem for me.  Doubt you can get them on a console though.

    I agree, but isn't it weird that no MMORPG's for consoles have been released, or was there a MMORPG on a console? If there was one, then it wasn't popular, 'cause I have never heard about it... And even without mouse and keyboard, you could make a First Person MMO, like Oblivion, but then MMO, easy to control on controller.

    A final fantasy MMO was released for PS2, and I believe that Warhammer Online was played with a 360 at E3.

    Really though..I doubt they would sell well, so I doubt there'd be a lot of them being offered.   Oblivion isn't an MMO though..it's a single player game.  MMOs do have "massive" in the title.

    The only MMO title for Xbox 360 right now is FFXI. I think there are some future plans for more MMO's for Console's. I think I remember seeing something about this in a artical somewhere, but I dont remember the name of the site with the article.

    I know Oblivion is a Single Player, however, some people are saying there shall be a huge mod for Oblivion to play it as a MMO, you can already play Oblivion online, but online with 2 players or 4. What I wanted to say is to create a MMO like Oblivion was a First Person Single Player RPG, and yes, I also know that you can play Third Person.

    Not many people know this, there's a rumor going around that was started by the guy that accurately predicted there being a speaker in the Wii Remote. He says that Nintendo has been developing a system that will be available on the Wii. What it does is convert what you say into a microphone into Text upon the screen. But, here's the KICKER! Let's say you shout "I win!" The words "I win!" will be big, bold, and red because you shouted it. Neat huh?

    With this sort of tech, you wouldn't hardly need a keyboard to communiate with other players with an mmo on the Wii.

    Phantasy Star Universe will be for PS2, Xbox360 and PC. I know that Phantasy Star Online has always been a game that can be changed up to be played both on keyboard and controler.

    There are 3 other games too but I can't remember.

    Another MMO for PS2, I don't know those MMOs though... Have somoene played them? Please tell me if it are good games, and how much players the game had... Maybe the games are not so well-known because MMOs are very popular since 2002 or something like that.

    Yes there are major MMO's heading to the next gen con, first with the 360 it has Final Fantasy 11 right now, then Huxley is heading for it also, it's a FPSMMO, theres plans for W.O.W to be on the PS3 and 360 same with Warhammer online, Bioware is working on a untitled MMO for the 360, and theres a Marvel MMO heading for the 360 also, unnamed so far, Auto Assault is also in the works for the 360, and PSO (Phantasy Star Online) the new one names PSO Universe for the 360 and PS2 (and comp)and for the PS3 MMO's, W.O.W, another untitled Marvel game, an untitled SquareEnix MMO, a MMO named I think Ulimited Saga for it also, and for the Wii, only one MMO is one the works for it now I forgot the name of it though, you would have to look it up, but theres also MMO's for the old systems, the xbox has PSO and thats it, but a game named Citizen Zero is STILL on the works for the xbox, but it might end up moving over to it's bigger brother, the PS2 has FF11 and Everquest, and the Gamecube has PSO, also a game called True Fantasy Live Online that was going to be for the xbox, but it was taking to long so they wiped it, but it's on the works for the 360 now, and the Cellphone has a Final Fantasy game named Before Crisis, it's followed from the story of FF7, it's in japan now but it's on it's way to here, and that should be about it, I hope I didn't miss anything.
