I wonder what kind of missions they will have and how they will be presented to us. I hope that we can avoid the "Kill x number of creature" type missions followed by "Kill another x number of creature and kill something slightly stronger". Because, as most people will agree will get boring. Very quickly.
My first idea is about the PvP aspect is that every world is controled my a certian race, and that places can be raided by other races to take over the area. You can still go to the world however, but you have to be careful and try to avoid the town nearby. A simliar setup is on Space Cowboy, which featured massive battles (200+ Ships).
An idea about Missions could be that a set number of people, like 20 or so can get sent to a "Mission Map" where they can carry out their "orders". If you don't want to go on missions you can explore as a team, going anywhere you like, with dangers as well.
Any other ideas on how Missions should be presented, or how exploration should be organised?

If I'm playing A Goa'uld and I see a human out in the jungle on an unihabited world, everything should be fair game.
As far as missions are concerned, I don't think they will have many missions that aren't 4-5 man. I also don't think alot of the human missions will concern killing x things. It would be more around exploration. While the Goa'uld would be more around killing/subjagating natives.
I am sure there will certain flash points that will be an all out war between races, where it will be massive, but I still think most of the content should be 4-5 man. Usually on the show when you solo, you were going to be captured and the rest of your team would have to come and get you.
There has been allot of information released about PvP and combat in general. You can find it here.
