My little brother and his friends play Runescape. Furthermore, they believe it better than EVE Online.
This is an experiment to see the response from the community.
Dylan (brother): Make sure they know it's not about graphics, but the gameplay.

i've played runescape for two months
I suppose with my time schedule...i could play EVE and have the same amount of fun..if not more. but idk.
i have to turn off the chat in RS...i dont even type on that game because of the goddamn filtering system. so pathetic. 99.8% of the community is horrible ...and acts as if they were in the 1st grade. it makes the Barrens chat look like words of Einstein.

Well if it were RS vs any other game I would say runescape sucks, go home. However in the contest of the two most boring games of all time I would have to say RS is less boring, at least you can walk around, get new armor and some other stuff... They both suck but I say RS takes this one, sorry.
EDIT: This is my opinion, do not freak out on me because I do not like the largest pretty sandbox warpfest in the world.

As for your experiment, Dylan (your brother) seems like a cool dude. I mean he doesn't need a bunch of people on the Internet to tell him what to like. You on the other hand, I don't know about.

I don't think that he can run for president anymore. Then again, I'm not too caught up on current politics, not my cup of tea.

You like Runescape better? Great, have fun playing it.
so what? I had more fun playing Runescape than WOW, Hero Online, Silkroad, EQ or City of Villains. and then had more fun with EVE than all of them, but no its not my favorite. Its all a matter of perspective, certain elements of a game will be more enjoyable to some than others, I found the open ended skill system in Runescape to be quite good, even if I did have to turn off the chat before peoples inane chatter fried my brain. and I can certainly see why people dont like EVE, you need a lot of patience to play it.
What I don't understand is how people can be so hostile against a game and yet cannot come up with a single point of CONSTRUCTIVE criticism and instead come with endless variations on "it sucks the hair off my balls!" if you dont like a game, say why. If you cant think of a reason why you dont like the game, try playing it first.
