Hi there, just found out these forums, so it's kinda weird to have my first post being a guild advertise . I'd recommend our Guild 'Children of Oceania'. We like to roleplay it a bit, and we are mainly Tryker, but we are accepting other races, except Matis atm. We'll be freelancers and pirates, but not only stealing, also creating items and sell them on the market. We allready have a few traders and our +/- 10 members have classes spread out. You'll have to contact Kid_a for more info, cause he's the leader of the guild. Together with him I made the guild, but haven't got time for leadership .
Our website is http://www.freewebs.com/oceaniaguild/ . I know, I know, not your neatest website, but we can't be bothered to take time to build a better one, untill beta starts for us. That's quite soon, cause 6 or 7 of our members will be getting in the next wave (contest winners ).

I plan on joining the Children of Oceania! The only thing holding me back is the possible disadvantage Trykers might be at when it comes to melee fighting. Then I might go Matis...

Children of Oceania? Wow. Well, since I most definately am going to be a Tryker, likely a theif or explorer or merchant or craftsmen (The other classes dont interest me, because they were in every other game, imo). And yes, I am one of those contest winners, so when I get the mail I will meet you all ingame...

Not know a thing about this game other than everything I've read I am going to give it a serious consideration and hope that it is just partially what I have read at release. After 3 years of DAoC I am ready for a change.
Are there any established U.S. guilds that have websites yet with a charter and bi-laws? If so how bout some URLs.
If you're a Matis character and you're heavy into harvesting, there's a fairly decent chance you'll get along with some of the good folks over at Melinoe. VERY knowledgeable people in that guild, and most of them are quite friendly to boot.
