By sorting it out, you do mean that you will be learning the Korean right? And telling us how to register?? Pretty pleeeaaaseee???

LOL!
I tried downloading it directly but got only 2Kbps on a DSL connection. But after using a download manager/accelerator (I used FlashGet), my download for the file went to 180Kbps. Heh!
So, no problem with the download, installation, and patching. It's the registration and game that's a problem, unless you know Korean.
I wish there is a Signup Guide and English Patch for A3, just like in Lineage 2 TWOB/JOB. It would be nice to try this game and see how it compares to Lineage 2.
On the second page of account creation, it appears to be an area to verify that you are an adult, I'm not sure what it is asking for in the input boxes. I thought maybe it was for an email addy, a username and a password but it is not accepting anything I throw at it.
Also, it is near impossible to translate any of the pages without speaking korean as 95% of the text is actually images so you can't copy/paste into a translator. The only clues I have found are on the image names, that's how I figured out the second page is some sort of age verififcation page

Yes. I don't think you should list this game yet in your site.
I don't think that they have english beta version.
BTW, as far as I know, A3 and RF Online were listed as the most anticipated titles for 2004 in S. Korea by most of their major gaming portals.
There are a lot of buzz going around these titles in that country. Many see them as contender of L2.
Hello, I'm Chris Lee from ActozSoft (developer of 'A3') Firstly, I appreciate your interests and concerns. Unfortunately, really sorry to disappoint you all, though the English version for A3 is not ready yet. We're hoping it to be done by 1st QT of 2004. Please be patient for a couple of months.
I'm really pleased to find out that a lot of A3 fans are out there already.

What would clear alot of confusion would be to put an announcement on the website that the game isnt out in english yet and that the client is for the korean server. Had the same problem with Mu Online 5 months before the english came out, the site download link files were for the chinese server

You're totally right on that. I'll put a notice right away.
Hey Aspen, no need to apologize to anyone. The A3 English web site is the problem and at fault. Everything there is in English. Then there's the graphics on the front page to download the game, "Download the full version of A3, and start playing today." There are no indications or statements anywhere on the web site that the game and registration process is still in Korean, so anyone checking the A3 English web site will definitely assume the game/registration is in English.
I'd like to thank you for mentioning A3. I didn't know or read anything about A3 until you posted your message. So...thanks Aspen!

Yes, spetsnaz is right. Thank you Aspen and we, ActozSoft, apologize for the confusion.

Spetsnaz,
It's great to know that major game developer are paying attention to our posts!!!!
I don't think there is anything to apologize. I rather think it's such cool thing to participate in our actual discussion that this forum is hosting.
My opinion is that what many forumites/soon-to-be consumers share here is actual concern they have on some titles. And I think it's good to know that at least some developers are listening to us.
Now, my question is when can we expect a NA version of this game and its beta testing session?
I heard an unconfirmed report that A3 received more beta sign up applications than what Lineage 2 did when its beta first got announced in that country.
Can you confirm on that?
Oh also if "ever" there are a rising criticism that A3 is just "another" Lineage 2 clone or the same old threadmill based time-sinking game, etc - I would doubt anyone would claim this solely on baseless opinion - do you guys have the will to completely redesign the game however risky or costy that decision might be?
Personally I would like to see more of GUILD WARS type of free/skill-rewarding all-out competition centered MMORPG title for the Korean Market.
As far as I know there are none like that announced in that country where people are still stuck with 8-12 players based starcraft/warcraft. I believe game like GUILD WARS will revolutionize not only MMORPG lanscape but the PC gaming as whole. I have no doubt on this. Say it's just my gutt feeling. One thing that I regret is that it looks like it's targeting NA as its audience and I haven't heard of any buzz around this game in S. Korean market.

No, that doesn't really help because everything that we need translated still remains untranslated. Only some of the things get translated.
