Pretty good game for a free game

Been playing this game for a while now. I actually think its one of the better free to play MMORPG's. the graphics are nice, the area's are really well done. there is quite some room for customization.on the other hand the character looks customization is very poor, even for an asian mmorpg which results in everybody looking the exact same. combat is pretty basic, but it works. as usual, there is a long grind, and there is a bit of a lag problem.

Its actually the very first free mmorpg that can entertain me. it reminds me a little bit of my Ragnarok Online days. if the anime like graphics don't turn you away, then you have a pretty good free mmorpg here. the drill and card system are a nice change, altough the drill system is very basic.

I keep hearing about this game, so I guess I will try it just for the hell of it. But as far as customization, show me one Asian game that has ever had any real amount of character customization.

well Archlord seems to have some customization that you can get later in the game. but your right, customization isn't too big in asian games, but its REALLY bad in Trickster, even for an asian game.

also, don't be fooled by the small download. after its done patching (which takes hours and hours) your Trickster map is about 2 GB. a word on how to start the game, its a little bit weird.

once you have game downloaded & installed, you need to go to www.tricksteronline.com to start the game. click on start game, log in, then click on start game again to start again. no idea why its like that.

Hey, I gotta admit, I think I've found the first Asian game I enjoy! Reminds me of the old SNES/PS1 rpg games but with multiplayer added. It's actually kinda cool from the little bit I've played so far. Heh, I think we've finally found something to agree upon, Gameloading! Cheers

    haha, cool.

the game gets a little repetive further on, but its pretty cool. there is a lot to explore, the game word is pretty big. I also heard there is PVP, but I haven't found it yet.

well, if you like Trickster, you might also like Ragnarok online. RO is a lot like trickster, but much more advanced. I think you might also like it, but Ragnarok Online is p2p. but has more intresting features such as castle sieges, even more customization then trickster. check it out, as you mentioned Trickster reminded you of old Snes/PS1 rpg games, then I think you might like RO as well. RO is often seen as the missing link between console RPG's and MMORPG's. check it out at www.ragnarokonline.com and who knows, maybe one day you understand my love for asian MMO's

    400th post.

Well there's something about Maplestory that makes it appealing for me,even though I know it's a PvE grindfest. Probably cos it's simple and I'm a fan of Dynasty Warriors, which is a button-bashing grindfest.  Must be the graphics or something.

Trickster buggered up its launch for me; it took ages to start and when it did,it failed to recognise my account that I'd created days earlier. Got put off as a result, think I might try it again. Gotta pass the time while waiting for Darkfall!
