Besides EVE,Neocron and Face of Mankind, are there any MMO that have a high chance of being released, being good and being a fun game to play?

Ryzom is sci-fi/fantasy and it is getting more popular by the day.  With the release of the Ring expansion its gonna be a huge hit.

Well there is also Fallen Earth, should be here around Christmas or Q1 2007 and .... well that's about it as far as real MMORPGs goes.

Huxley will be an MMOFPS, Tabula Rasa a sci-fi version of Guild Wars (with subscription ofcourse).

Star Trek Online, Star Gate Worlds and newly announced Divergence - all these games have a really big chance of newer being released or being terrible (think Dark and Light).

For now there are only 3 choices: EVE Online, Star Wars Galaxies and Saga of Ryzon

As of late I play EVE and just resubbed Star Wars galaxies. SWG is pretty fun, just alot of people pre CU are not happy with the game. Its still decent now days, growing daily. If you decide to try it, play on the Bria server or any of the european servers. all 4 of them are fairly populated :-D

Though I don't have much experience with the game recently I think that the free Anarchy Online should be mentioned here as well. It is a sci fi MMORPG that is worth checking out. I'm looking forward to seeing how Huxley turns out. It is a MMOFPS that is sci fi based as well.

You can go on to the games list on this site and sort it by genre if you need any more ideas.

I have a hard time categorizing Saga of Ryzom as sci-fi.

Well advanced spaceships, guns, a living planet, mysterious alien protectors (The Karavan) ...
Maybe it's not purely Sci-Fi, still it does have enough elements of it to be different than pure fantasy games.

The backstory, the world and creatures are all completely alien, so they should appeal to those who like Sci-Fi and are fed up with fantasy games.
Too bad the game has so little content (almost no quests), unless something drastic happened in the last few months.

You should go and play Phantasy Star Universe when it's released... I love that game...

RF Online has quite some Sci-Fi elements in it.

There is absolutely no way, a 0% chance that Fallen Earth will go gold this year or next. They don't even have forums on the (extremely static) official site. They aren't in beta and the developers have repeatedly stated that they are in no rush to release the game.

Not sure of its chances of being released. Info is scarce. Sign up for the newsletter. That's about it.

Yeah I was probably a "little" too optimistic about the Christmas, Q1 part (those ware old rumors...very old)

Tho I think it has very good chances of being released and actually being a decent game. Judging from the screens and movies from alpha (? or was it internal beta), the engine looks solid, the small part fo the world they are showing looks nicely done, they have decent lore, the animation looks nice (when the character is fighting that sand worm with a nailed club).

There is the question if they can find a decent publisher, good servers, and add a lot of interesting content, good quests and fun and challenging PvP, and if they will have all those extra features (like player housing, player towns, vehicles, ...).

But what I really want is a ground based MMORPG set in a little more distant future or/and even on another planet. A modern Anarchy Online or Star Wars Galaxies 2. Not being in some destroyed world or locked in a space ship (thou that should be an option, every next gen MMO should have different kinds of vehicles/mounts).

Divergence looks promesing, but for now it's just an idea. And lets hope the devs have some more skill in developing the game that building web sites (FE site is pretty ugly and static, but at least they didn't just use some phpBB template).
