There has been some speculation about the dark elf classes and the fact that they are almost all female. Well o an intewview Paul has said that GW has given them the ok to make male sorceresers.

Well, I for one am not upset over the idea of Male Dark Elven Sorcerers, but Male Witch Elves I may find some disputes. Oh well, I guess if in Warhammer 40K, there are male Dark Eldar Wyches, a Witch Elf probably as well won't be gender specific.
I will say that seeing a male Dark Elf in a metal speedo will spark some very homophobic remarks.
obviously they dont, there are alot of male dark elves, its just that people seem to think

which is stupid.
they see the movie for the game, see the wytch elf woman with the swords and skimpy clothing, and assume that the warhammer dark elves are forgotten realms style drow.
there is no matirarchal ruling in the druchii (the dark elves of warhammers name for themselves)

and the warhammer comic books have alot more male charicters than female when its dark elves, their armor is cool

dark elf CLASSES almost all female is not the same as DARK ELF almost all females.
Considering the Sorcerer(ess) and the Witch Elf are prolly two of the DE classes, those were valid concern seeing only female representant of those classes have ever been seen.

But I think they have said, screenshots not with standing, that all races, but orcs, have a male/female pairing.

Thanks, I didn't know they were on that as well. I'll get around to that soon then. Only things I watched oin that player before there the Gamesday and Wizard event videos that basically showed in depth the Greenskins and Dwarfs.
the game warhammer fantasy battles, has a great deal of male and female roles, infact there are only a couple of spesfic female roles in the dark elf armies, such as wytch elves.
on the same vein, in the wargame, there are male only units such as Corsairs, Cold one Knights, Black Guard and Assassins
even if two of the four classes in warhammer online may be female only, that doesnt warrent the speculation that they are 'allmost all female'
a half is a half, not allmost all. even though its now only really one class that could be female only, since they have said its possible to be a male sorcerer
plus, the orks, since they dont particulary have any sexes, have goblin and ork, the blackork tank class is ork spesfic and the goblin squig hearder is goblin spesfic.
having one sex spesfic class per race isnt half a bad idea in my opinion.
allthought i would probaly prefer either more of a class choice, or no sex restriction, its still not too bad, and at least fits with the lore of the classes and races in particular.

i agree that having 1 sex specific class is not that bad either
2 is starting to stretch it... so..! Goblin Berserkers!!!!! Orc Shamans!!!! WE want them!!! yeeeee
