Granado Espada- in English!

...Welp, yeah... Finally someone's gone and developed Granado Espada in english. There used to be a site for it in english, eons ago...but it never got anywhere. It still looks very good, and I can't wait to play.

Beta is supposed to start later this year.

http://www.granadoespada.sg/

For those that never heard of the game, it's based around 17th-18th century styles, and one of its main draws is the ability to control 3 characters at once!

...I didn't see this in this forum, so I thought it'd be good to post it here.

Finally. I can't wait for this game. I'm very interested in how the MCC system works. It's also a very realistic game that takes real time fashion is the 17-18th Century and uses it in the game. It's got cool characters and I hope the beta starts A.S.A.P. Also hope it's F2P after beta.

If it is F2P after beta, that would be awsome. Lets just hope it is F2P. ::::20::

Ya lets hope it is F2P and uses an Add Supported system like D. Perry is doing with 2Moons right now. Im just most excited about the Multi Character Control system. Having 3 people with you attacking. Reminds me of Starcraft. Aaah what a beatiful game it is.

The English is good cuz it's from Singapore, English is one of their main languages, they're suposed to be good.
About F2P or P2P, all GE versions are P2P, it's more like it going P2P.

I played this game (Korean OB) for 2 weeks when I had nothing else to do, well I had something else to do but I wanted to check out the PvP in it.

The PvE is horrible, quests are linear and dull and PvP was even worse.

It's like most Asian MMORPG's, lack any original content and gameplay, except that you can control three characts at once.

Where can I sign up for beta? I've tried the big blue button but that only requires me to give them my email address, then nothing happens, have I got it right?
  • ObasaObasa Member Posts: 8
Yes, that's all there is to it, don't worry. :3

I got excited for a second, then I saw it was an asian game. And who knows french reneissance better than people from singapore.  Same classes as any other asian mmorpg , just that people are dressed different.  Damn you people for getting my hopes up.

It's better be hated for who you are, than loved for who you aren't.

Considering the French have already shown their ability with DnL, I think I feel safer with Asians doing it.

Yes and the asians have made how many crappy games compared to the french ? Like 50, and that's just the bunch that were brought to the western markets lol.

Its not fair to term crappy games made from japan or korea "Asian", if you even know what an atlas is, asia comprimise of many other different countries. Japan or korea isnt ASIA so kindly pull your head out of your a55, smell some fresh air, study geographical locations, the difference between french and europeans AND Then type without making yourself look like a pile of ignorant horse poo. Simple? btw your lovely avatar comes from berserk the jap anime or did you for a second thought it came from ASIA again? lol

They are from the asian region & can therefore be called "asian games". Also using the word "jap" is derogatory, maybe you should study more.

All asian mmorpgs have sucked, hw about that. I'm pretty sure korea and japan are in asia.......what school did you go to again ?  Maybe there is another continent I should find on the atlas you mentioned, like Atlantis.

Obviously asians make many good games, it's just that non of them are mmorpg format.

I know what my avatar is, and japs are asians.

I love moronic trolls like you.  Every korean/japanese MMO post made you appear in.   Basically say the same trollish crap.  "All Korean MMO's suck", and I'd be willing to bet you've played.. what?  One maybe two?  Here's some sound advice for you Mr.Troll,  "Get a Life".  If you don't like Korean, Japanese, Asian MMO's.  Then stop entering every thread you see about one.  If you don't like them, fine!  Don't post about them, don't read threads about them, and don't play them.   Oh and STFU if you dislike them so much.   Damn I swear retards like you just piss me off to no end.

    In Peace - Vigilance.
    In Death - Sacrifice.

dont excite that much, those updates were max 2 for almost 2 years
(i know what am i talking about)

as it goes to korean "crappy" games, u better look the top 5 rated mmoprgs in korea
afaik L2 is maybe placed in top 10, RFo is at 4-5 position, but i don't remember the name of the 1st top ranked game - i saw only couple screenies and short movie - and can say it was f*** awesome with huge game content

Singapore's main language is English. Why is it so surprising to learn that Asians can speak fluent English? :p

From what I heard the Japanese version was upgraded to 2.0 some time ago and features dinosaurs as level 90 mobs. I played in the early stages but the language barrier was a bit much, quit around level 20.

PVP is challenge-based and takes place in an instance.

PVE can be semi-automated, just set your team on ctrl+e or some similar command and they will auto-attack anything around them.

But the company (IAH) who got the license for Southeast Asia / NZ are not handling it very well imho, the registration process for closed beta is terribly unclear (how do they choose participants based on just email alone??) and they offer very little information on the status of the proposed servers.

OK well, if you don't like asian mmorpg, you can leave all those games alone and you should go to check on American or European games. Nobody force you to try it or play it. I got no problem with people who point out their opinion about how they dislike the game but I hate people who call everything that they don't like are crappy.
If you don't like something, it doesn't mean other people won't like it and enjoy it.

This is a public forum, so I can post wherever I like. "Trolls" like me are necessary so the hype mongers don't sway too many of you fine folks from getting excited over things that will crush you from the inside out.

Someone has to say the truth, in a non fanboish way, that this is for example a generic asian mmorpg.

If you have the right to say how great this game is or may be then I should have the right to criticise it shouldn't I ?

I have played pretty much every mmorpg that has come to the western markets, including at least giving these asian crapfests a chance.  There hasn't been 1 that was original, or had anything to offer save grind and more grind.  Yes western mmorpgs aren't exactly close to being great, but they are light years better than anything I have seen from the east side.

I may say some insensetive things sometimes, but it's better than beating aroudn the bush in my opinion.

Coming back to this grand ole game.  This is so old. People see pretty screenshots and get happy about an asian mmorpg.  Then they play it and woe and behold the game looks like crap and plays worse.  Recently Archlord comes to mind.

You better get used to me, I'm the mmorpg.com MVP :)

No-one cares about your feelings, Gorukha. Neither to we care about your lame posturing or your claims that you're unbiased about MMOs, that you're giving us sage advice or something. In reality, you're just spouting bits of dribble that everyone already knows about Korean MMOs.

Truthfully, what interests me about GE is what I've seen in gameplay trailers. It looks lot different than the usual Korean MMO.

If you haven't played this game, Gorukka, I don't care how many other MMOs you've "given a chance." You can take your whining and shove it.
