You can buy game time with Isk. I don't know how much isk it is but it is a lot of money. SO he basically scammed his way to a couple months of free subscription.
I know that there is question as to who money belongs to in an Online game. Well I'll have to tell you that the virtual currency belongs to EVE online, unless they decide to sell the money to the individuals that play the game. There is still a lot of debate on the idea of virtual property, however there are still no laws set out on it yet, but things are starting to be discussed. Untell than, the people that own the game are the ones that own everyone's cash and characters.
it's an interesting and mind-boggling subject.

Jon Wood

Great Show gents- thanks for all the effort put into them. Great listening.
DnL story- Im so glad you talked about this game. Its such a hot topic on the boards about how the player has been flat out lied to by the developers- Im acually afraid the game has gope beyond the no-return point but we are all waiting, with wettened lips, for the mmorpg review. hehe
Eve- great scam. You got to hand it to the guy (clap, clap) what a killer move. Yea, he's prolly some sleazeball, nerd-wad, but he did pull off a chess move like no-one has tried before. I just think his "I win" attitude on the eve forums is really immature.
Looking forward to more shows-
