ok believe it or not, i believe that email to be 100% true. everything makes sense in my mind. i helped out and knew most of the devs that are making SWGEMU. although i wasn't in their inner circle or anything like that, i knew what was going on. however, right after their meeting with LA, the whole team became very quiet and the only thing i was told from one of the devs i knew was that they weren't allowed to say until LA makes in public. that's all i was told. in my mind it makes sense.

Even if this were true, forcing us to buy a new box AND pay the full sony station pass is absolutely ridiculous. On those facts alone I would not subscribe.

IF this is true, SOE can suck my dick if they think I'm going to pay for station pass, $25/month, to play this one game. My account's been canceled for a couple weeks now and it's the first time I just don't care about SWG anymore. I would pay my $15/month to play pre-CU, but fuck them if they think I'm going to pay $25/month. I don't play any of their other games, I've been playing WoW as much as I used to play SWG and I'm having fun. SOE drove me to WoW lol. Why would I pay to play an inferior knock-off when I can play the real thing for the same money.
I think sometimes that this whole thing is a pshychological study in how much abuse people are willing to take for something they love. This to me would be the final step in the study, charging almost double after 1.5 years of crap. I just hope the rest of the pre-CU fans feel the same and DON'T resub until they charge $!5/month.

But publically they trash America at any opportinity and try to prove their nonexistant virility by opposing America whenever they can.

It's too obvious. It's just a collection of rumors put together into a picture that we wish was true. It's not based on any new information, it's just what we all want. Except for the duck part. That was too much of a reach. Even crappy companies wouldn't hire those guys to run a hot dog stand. Why would a company that has lost so much face and respect hire a group of guys that would just continue to drive the very bad image of SOE further into the ground. Especially when opening classic servers would be a move to try to regain a respectable image. They may be decent at programming, but they have a LOT of growing up to do before anyone would put them in charge of anything.
