"You were given access to the Beta Site, our digital version of the MMOCenter CD you would've recieved in stores had you bought a PreOrder Box for any other game. Had you opened that box for City of Villians, Auto Assault, Guild Wars, Shadowbane, or Risk Your Life (just to name a few) and taken the box back: you would not have gotten a refund.

When you PreOrdered MMOCenter, you PreOrdered a service. We fullfilled our obligations we promised thus far. You have not been charged monthly, and you have had access to our Beta Site, which keeps you more informed then any of the aformentioned games I listed (I PreOrdered all 5, so I speak from Personal Experience).

I am sorry you feel scammed. The truth of the matter is we have fullfilled all obligations to date to our PreOrder members, and will continue to do so."

Thank God I didn't preorder.  This is a brilliant scam.  You create a crappy website and a message board promising a game.  You manufacture a few screenshots and get your friends to post on websites like this saying they've toured the studio and seen how awesome the game is.

Then you charge people for the preorder service.  But you don't charge them for the game.  Oh, no.  If you charged them for the game, they could call their credit card company have have report the fraud.  Instead, you charge them for access to the website with more information about the "game."  They're not paying for a game that doesn't exist.  They're paying for information about the game that doesn't exist.  And they don't have any legal recourse.

MMOCenter, you magnificent bastards!  Wish I had thought of it first.  Maybe I'll rent a building and label is "hospital" but when people sign in, they agree to pay for "pre-admission" which is just access to a binder full of  pictures of doctors, pill bottles, and surgeries being performed.

    Heh, the best part is, I used to work for endless ages, before it was sold to mmocenter......and mind you, all that had seen EA before understood it was a small indie project, but we did not promise too much, we actually released a game, and I believe a ton of people had fun....when mmocenter took over, endless ages became exactly like the chronicle, in terms of information given to the public, and customer service, so not only did they make an already dieing game die faster, they killed thier own game before it even was born, hahaha, the irony, and to think I tried to get my position from EA carried over to Rapid Reality, I can only say I am happy they did not give me that opportunity to fail miserably.......

    98% of the teenage population does or has accepted Marijauna propoganda. If you are one of the 2% that thinks for yourselves and has read any of the many scientific studies that prove cannabis is harmless then please paste this in your signiture.

    All I can say is CeasarsGhost and the rest of the MMOcenter devs and spokespeople need to just stay at their beta site until they have a game to show (so in other words they don't need to come here anymore). I am tired of DnL imitators and I really wish there was some kind of regulations banning any company from accepting pre-orders for games. Maybe then they would all actually have to create the games they promise before they ever see any money from the players.
