Well my lazy butt forgot to check my e-mail for this new contest and I'm a day late imageimageimage I wonder how many of you are actually gonna go through this contest...reply back!

    I feel for you, I'm in the same boat only missed by eight hours and when I checked my e-mail in the mourning I was angryimage, then sadimage, then angryimage, then sadimage, but now I'm fineimage because it's only another two months until it comes out.

    so true onthe official site you need activity on forums to get in but you need to be registred before november of 2003 or you can pre-order the bonus disk it will guantee you a spot in beta BUT you don't know hwen you'll get to play

    Well, the CoH beta is something I will never get into, considering I am under 18.  However, I don't like the idea of registered forum members before a certain date.  A lot of people just like to browse the forums and read what people have to say about different aspects of the game.  Some of them don't even register, they just read the posts.  It is very unfair to them because now they don't have a chance to participate in the early phases of beta and they could have been active on the site for a very long time.

    Yes but I forgot to mention that they monitor IP's for people who just browse so if they register and had been browsing for a year they could get in

    Well, not if they aren't registered.  You still have to have a name, you can't just browse as nobody and get in.

    Just so you guys know...when you enter the contest has no bearing on your odds.  Even if you enter in the last 5 minutes we still give you bonus tickets for your login activity in the past 30 days.

    Yeah, this site is getting a lot more publicity lately with all of these beta giveaways.  Like you said, I'm sure there will be tons of people heading over here from the CoH forums.
