Risen Ascension is an offshoot of an older, previously established, family-based guild community that was originally founded in October of 2000 for the game Horizons. We have existed as a guild successfully for well over 5 years in 3 different MMORPOG's including DAOC, Horizons, and EQ2. We consist of a wide variety of more mature gamers predominantly ages 25 to 60 and all mature adults (although we do have a small number of members age 18-25) We are looking for:
--Mature minded individuals (predominantly age 25+)
--People who are open to a LESS structured approach to guild management
--People who have a primary personal focus of FUN in any MMORPG they play over other concerns such as power gaming or level achievement
--Individuals who are Team players and support accomplishment of TEAM goals as paramount
--Individuals who enjoy helping other people MORE than achievement of personal goals
--Individuals who PREFER to craft and pursue tradeskills as dedicated crafters
--Individuals excited about the idea of building structures in Vanguard such as player homes and artisan shoppes and ships/wagons for travel
We do plan to raid eventually but there will NOT be an emphasis placed on raiding per se as a guild goal. There will also be a moderately sized group among us who will be focusing specifically on tradeskills as dedicated crafters primarily with adventuring as a secondary focus. Risen Ascension will have guild goals to achieve things such as building a guild hall and housing and merchant shops prior to accomplishing other more traditional goals such as reaching the level cap and raiding.
Primarily we are seeking individuals who are team players and interested primarily in furthering the goals of the team over achievement and focus centered on personal goals. If you enjoy teamwork more than working solely for yourself and derive more personal satisfaction from helping other people than from immediate attainment of your own goals, then you may be one of the people who we are seeking to add to our team!!!

Would be glad to have you hotdogs and anyone else out there looking for a plain old-fashioned "family oriented" guild without alot of the negatives inherent in some of the more "raid-focused" and "hardcore" guilds!!!
